This is an internet based program I have been using as a trial for the past couple of weeks. It is wonderful! They have alloted me a few slots for enrolling students to try it out. The students have really enjoyed it.
I am sending home information for you to review the site also. The company offers a 50% discount to families with the use of a 'code' I will send you. For every family that signs up, we receive a free enrollment for our classroom. The enrollment of $30 is for as long as you want to use it (goes through 3rd grade). You can share the 'code' with friends or relatives also.
Read the information and check out the site.
We've been working on this site in class on the Activboard. This is a free access site and is really great practice for your student!

Parent and Student Survey: www.lamarcountyschools.org Look in the top right hand corner and click on the survey topic. These will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Please have your child answer some of their questions. I did not see a place to check for kindergarten when asked grade level. You may want to put this in one of the comment sections. The CISCO 21st Century Project paid for our interactive boards, computers and provides training and assistance for me.
Send a note that you completed the survey, and receive a one week homework pass!!!!!!!!

There are also other activities and games. You can look atthe student page and review what has been taught. I encourage you to not look ahead and pre-practice the Topic tests. We want a true evaluation of what your child has learned.
