The Story Behind The Name

You may have been wondering why we are called Cherry Chimes. Not all sites have a story behind their name. But us at Cherry Chimes do!

Some of you may know that Christina loves cherries. And, you're write, she does! But their is some more behind our name. You're probably asking where the "chimes" part of our name comes in. It just so happens that the day Christina was thinking of creating another site (March 10, 2007) she was sitting outside thinking of some names. It was strangley warm out that day, especially for New Jersey. A sudden wind blew, and her mother's wind chimes chimed as a bike rider with a shirt with a cherry on it came on. Just like that, a lightbulb sparked above Christina's head. She must have jumped up and said something like "That's it!" or "I got it!" Christina loves cherries, oh so red and juicy, and at that moment she absolutley adored the sound of her mother's wind chimes. That's why we have our name today.

Most of our staff All of our current staff do not know this story and well you just might know before them of how our name came to be. If you ever are looking for a name for a site or story or anything else just pay attention to what you love and your surroundings. It sure helped Christina think of a name for Cherry Chimes!
