We are a small stud situated at the top of the Avon striving to breed top quality coloured performance horses for all disciplines
Our main goal for breeding is Temperament Conformation, Trainability, Versatility with Movement and Stamina
as we believe that if a horse dose not have a temperament that is accepting to training then we just wont get the best results
Cherokee Lodge horses are exceeding in many disciplines Dressage ,State level Show jumping and Official Hacking
We have a small heard of mares choosing only breed a few foals per season
Our mares are chosen for their temperament and confirmation
We imprint our foals at birth, they are well handled and with their first few weeks taught to lead, pick up feet
float and yield to to pressure. They have their feet trimmed and are wormed very 6 weeks vaccinated from 12 weeks
Our mares nutrition is monitored to make sure they are getting all they need while in foal
and when feeding their foals. You can be assured that the foal from Cherokee lodge you will be taking home is a very special and top quality individual.
