On behalf of the entire Cheese Politics team, we are sorry. Three weeks ago our Cheddar Confederate HQ was raided by the Swiss Empire and the other half of the interview.

We have now set up a new Headquarters and are finally able to recieve our journalists reports. again, from all of us here at Cheese Politics, we are sorry.

Civil war! Fetta Mozzerella is in the midst of a revolution. Red Leicester and its allies have finally split from Fetta Mozzerella and have declared war. This has been expected for a long time and it is not surprising that it was chosen at a time when Fetta Mozzerella was unstable.

Red Leicester was quick to establish itself although many have doubts about its small military forced will be able to hold off against the juggernaut that is F-M. For many years now Red leicester's only real fighting force was a group of crack troops ina guerrila movement trying the damage the economy and political systems of F-M.

Now that it is no longer restricted to stay in the shadows it leaves Adem Edam wondering, what next?

“Hello, my name is Adem Edam reporting on behalf of cheese news. Sitting in front of me is Richard Brie, a former soldier for the cheddar confederate. So, Richard, what was it like serving deep in Swiss Lands?”

“Terrifying…I, I felt so scared. I was – am a conscript, you know that? Never fought before, not once but the Cheddar Confederate gave me a weeks training and a gun and told me to kill. I remember meeting a friend who I had known from school. We stuck together me and him.

We were sent to the front line in Bonchester. Our first assignment was to hold off Swiss troops who were trying to take the city back until reinforcements arrived.”

“Did you succeed?”

“There were three hundred of us, untrained rookies and a sergeant who didn’t like us. We did not succeed, simply because the reinforcements arrived, the train carrying them was destroyed by an F-M bombing. We held Bonchester for a month.

Every couple hours one of us died and I knew that my time would come. I knew!”

*At this point Richard broke out in tears*

“I should have died. We were. We were fighting inside a building looking out over the town square. I rose up to fire but my friend, he slammed me aside and then…and then…”

The Coaliting of Allied Governments (C.A.G) has joined the war. C.A.G has already sent a small strike force deep into Swiss and Made lines. C.A.G which has previously tried to stay at peace have been forced to go to war after the war started to spread into CAG lands.

The CAG is a group of small countries uniting together, almost like a small version of the UC but CAG was created to protect economy and the assets of its various members rather than to spread peace and fair trade.

The CAG is a nuetral force, against both sides and with the main bulk of its soldiers around its borders as defenders rather than attackers.

The leader of the Made Alliance has recently sent all troops to a nearby town in Cotherstone. There, they will set up bases and carry out secret observations. Already, General Airedale and Luitenant Emlett are planning action. The Swiss Empire are aware of this transportation and intend to leave as soon as possible.

Leader of the Swiss Empire, (Tomme De Romans) has gathered two hundred more troops in order to defeat the Made Alliance once and for all.

With no knowledge that the enemy is closing in, the Made Alliance may need to think fast or die trying.

The Made Alliance has withdrawn an estimated two thousand soldiers from the frontline. They were transported under cover of darkness and was covered by heavy bombings being carried out by the Made Alliance planes on the Swiss Camps and lines.

The move, announced only now shows a shift in confidence towards the war. Speculation has also been made about the current power struggle within the ruling cabinet or the Made Alliance with the president, also Edam's representative has been criticized for his indecisiveness over the war.

Various representatives of smallk countries within the cabinet have called for a re-election although it is unclear whether that could destabilize the Made Alliancae as it is currently in war and so has its efforts focused more on that.

The soldiers that were withdrawn were all men and women who had recently finished military training and were seen as 'unnessacary for the war effort' although this leaves Adem Edam thinking, is this just the start of the withdrawals?

Balaton, the small town in the north of the Made Alliance has been masacred by Swiss Empire troops. The attack, which occured yesterday, left 15 cheeses dead and many more severlry injured.

The attack was a very tactical move by the Swiss Empire, as not only has it weakened the Double Entente's forces, it has also left the Made Alliance questioning where they stand in the alliance consisting of them and the Cheddar Confederate. We can reveal that the Ruling Council of Made has held a meeting with the Cheddar Confederate to discuss its decision to attack Berkswell. Since the Made Alliance had no idea that the Confederate were going to ttack Berkswell, they are very angry that hey were not consaulted first. They believe that the Swiss Empire attacked Balaton in response to last week's attack on Berkswell.

With the armies of the Fetta-Mozzarella now on their side and the Double Entente arguing with each other, it seems like the Swiss Empire currently have the upper hand in the war.

The United Cheeses have released the results of last Wensleyday's elections. After a day of voting in poll stations all over the Cheese Nations, votes were counted by the Election Commitee of Cheese.

After the fifthteenth leader of the United Cheeses, Jack Colby stepped down last week, a poll was immediately held. Lanak O'Shire, May Tag-Blue, Reg Gianito and Rick Otto-Salata were all involved in the poll, but in the end it was Brie de Melun that won the election.

Brie de Melun held a conferance yesterday afternoon about how the UC will benefit from his leadership. Our reporter, Adem Edam was on the scene. This is what Brie de Melun had to say:

"The UC is in a time of war and bloodshed. We must make peace in the Cheese Nations to ensure a stable future for all cheeses. With new fundings from anonymous sponsors we will be able to buy more missiles, bombs and guns. We hope that by this we will be able to achieve peace for all,"

In other news, the Swiss Empire have begun sending food and medical experts to the survivors of Berkswell, who are living in the remains of a school. Pheel m'Flavour, the leader of the Cheddar Confederate, refused to comment on the Confedderate's decision to attack the town.

Two hours ago the Cheddar Confederate ordered a strike bombing operation on Berkswell. In the operation over one thousand bombs were dropped on the city and over a hundred thousand of the civilians who lived there were killed, even more were wounded.

This is one of the greatest military travesties to have occurred in our time. Berkswell is destroyed and so are the lives of a hundred thousand or so civilians who lived here.

Today the Double Entente have surprised the world with their actions and this leaves Adem Edam thinking, what lengths will they go to?

We have some news just in that the F.M. have arrived to war location and are in Berkswell at the present. The Fetta-Mozzarella empire have previously declaired war on the Testouri Troop allied with the Nokkelost Nation and are planning battle at the present.

General Gippsland and second Luitenant Lankashire are in charge of The F.M. and we have some live footage of their speech from our reporter, Adem Edam:

"We are going to fight for our Queen and Country...we will not rest untill every enemy is put down. We will make it back for the Blue Jubilee of our Queen Leyden. Some of us will die but that is the risk we are willing to take. Thank you and faith to Fetta-Mozzarella!"

The Fetta-Mozzarella empire goes to war! The newly elected ruling council of Fetta-Mozzarella filled with Fettanands allies and advisors has declared war on the Double Entente in retaliation to the assassination.

The Fetta Mozzarella war machine is a powerful one indeed as for the last generation they have been building their armies and stabilizing their borders. Indeed Fetta-Mozzarella is estimated to be more powerful than any one nation in the Blue Vein war and this turn of events has certainly turned the tables.

Previously the war had been firmly on the side of the Double Entente with the Swiss Empire in an already weak position and the UC joining the fight early on, although impartial it damaged the Swiss molre than the Entente.

More will come as we hear it.

Not half an hour ago the archduke of Fetta-Mozzarella was assasinated after he was parading with his wife, celebrating their anniversary. The archduke was a long time supporter of the Swiss Empire and there were supposedly talks of the two countries uniting to fight the Double Entente (the Made Alliance and the Cheddar Confederate).

This assassination has been well placed as several groups within Fetta-Mozzarela had all made attempts to end the Archdukes life. Many of these groups were parts of the red leicester underround - a group of patriots who after years of enemy rule wished to free Red Leicester.

Political rife has surrounded the Archduke for a long time after he ended the expansion of his country and started building his army. Many have speculated over the reasons for this although some say that it was because his father, who also supported the Swiss Empire had predicted that a war was coming.

Fetta-Mozzarella has been one of the most stable countries since it set itself up in the early race to imperialise and for at least two generations before Franz Fettanand Fetta-Mozzarella had been building its armies allowing dominance over the lesser regions around it - one of which was Red Leicester which after a strike by the dead Archdukes father had been under their control.

This act has only served to enflame the many supporters of the Fetta-Mozzarella Empire and many of those supporters  have decided to join the Swiss in an attempt to restore stability and gain revenge upon the Double Entente who are the main suspects for the assassination.

This has either been an incredibly bad move or a brilliant one by the Double Entente, assuming of course they did it, and a brilliant occurrence for Red Leicester.

Find out more as news comes in and Adem Edam is soon going to be on the case.

As of yet no one has died although several have been injured.

Summary

A lot of this war will be fought in the plains of the Swiss Empire where already fortifications are being built. The Swiss Empire in a cunning move has ordered several raids into the Cheddar Confederate land to grab civilians to use as bargaining chips.

The Swiss Empire also won a dog fight against the Made Alliance, taking even more prisoners and to this moment it has proved to be a very effective tactic - threatened with the death of their soldiers the Made Alliance has pulled back slightly and is making no moved to antagonise the enemy.

After long deliberation Prince Quarke, the son of King Edward is to be sent to fight in the frontline in the Blue Vein war. The UC are not giving out anymore information but it is probable that the Swiss Empire and its allies will make him a prime target.

After many years of training the prince has said many times that he would like to go to use this training to help the world as a whole and now it seems his calls have been answered.

We will update you as more news comes in.

The Swiss Cheese Empire have found new recrouts and formed a whole new revolution called The Tronchon Troops.

The Cheddar Confederate do not know about this new formation but will be told once the CRM Leader (Gorgon Zoli) is informed by the new Spy Agency better known as, The Grand Vatel, led by Jermi Tortes (Codename: Prince-Jean) He will look into this and send the CRM Top Secret information of these secret plans the opponents are hiding. But yesterday afternoon, Prince-Jean's companions were captured in the Swiss Cheese Empire Common Room sending the enemy valuable information. There is no news on where or what is happening to these Cheeses, but lets hope for the best.

Our Reporter, Adem Edam will catch us up on this information with the live speach announced by Gorgon Zoli inside the House of Common Cheeses.

"Yes, we have been informed that most of The Grand Vatel have been found. But there is no way to be sure that Tortes can discover this information alone. We will send down more spies immedietly to prevent the risk of lives being lost. Thank you."

After the recent development in the war - the UC sending peace making forces into the conflicted regions - the Swiss Empire, already having been heavily outnumbered by the Cheddar+Made Alliance have sent out a desperate call to the surrounding powers to help them in their fight.

This plea has as of yet yielded little results after the Swiss Empire had been in a weak economical and political position with its area of influence not travelling very far past its own borders.

The main reason we think that no allies have yet to come in is beacuse of the recent arguments with the UC. With many of the Empire's would be allies already part of the UC if they would ally it would cause a rift down the middle of this peace keeping council which would plunge the Cheese nations many years back in development terms.

Adem Edam our reporter is being flown over to the Swiss governmental headquarters and we will give you the Lowdown from the Edam as soon as it comes.

Not two hours ago the United Cheeses declared that in the interests of peace they would be sending their own forces to try to quell this war which has been running for only a week.

Already the Swiss Cheese Empire has seized innocent Made Alliance civilians and are now using them as bargaining chips to keep the Alliance from bringing its considerable might to bare. These are underhand tactics which have been condemned by the UC.

The Swiss have flaunted the Gruyere Convention and have beaten prosnoners and forced them to speak in videos which they have sent to their opposition. This move has angered the UC to the point where they have considered the Swiss's actions as a 'breach of international law which calls for swift and decisive consequences'.

These are strong words coming from a united front and it seems as if the Swiss are digging their own graves by using these underhand and dirty tactics to try to keep their enemies at bay.

The leader of the Cheddar Confederate, Pheel M'Flavour has refused to hand himself and his troop over to the Swiss Cheese Empire late last night. It is said that Pheel was bribed and threatened to make the choice, and that he outsmarted the enemy leader. Our reporter, Adem Edam has looked into this and has found that there is no proof of this and the war still has a long way to go before a long masting peace is instated.

The Cheese Rights Movement leader, Gorgon Zoli has announced that an official meeting will take place in the House of Common Cheeses and is organised to start at 9pm.

The Made Alliance are making a speech as we speak, so here is some live footage from the leader of the Made Alliance.

"This cannot go on, this war must be stopped at all costs, we must charge against the Swiss Cheese Empire and make them beg for surrender. We are asking for the brave to step forward and fight for peace. They have already captured over three hundred of our men, so you must cooperate, or the lives of those prisoners lies in your hands."

The Cheese Rights Movement, or CRM for short have for many years tried to get equal rights for all cheeses in all nations, including prisoners of War. For many years the governments and kings/queens have resisted this movent.

After hard work their efforts have paid off and after a meeting in the House of Common Cheeses they have given an almost complete bill of rights to Prisoners of War. After an interview with the CRM's leader, Gorgon Zoli he said that this is a real step forward for all concerned although he, and his movement will not rest until he gains equal rights for all.

It seems that today will go down in history with the declaration of War and the breakthough in rights for Prisoners of War and do you know what? I'll dare say they need it in these times to come.

A war has been declared. The Cheddar Confedarate, allied with the Made Alliance has declared war on the Swiss cheese Empire. Already Cheddar forces are ready to march and many of the border regions between these two giants are recieving severe warnings from the Parmesan Patrol.

Our Reporter, Adem Edam is in a helicopter surveying the cheddar warforce, we have a special report right now which hopefully will give the lowdown from the Edam.

"This is simply amazing, we all know how influential and large the Cheddar Confederate it but it blows your mind. There are at least thirty thousand soldiers already being transported to enemy territory while back here in Gloucester we have literally hundreds upon thousands of soldiers being briefed."

"After a talk with the head of the Confederate, Pheel M'flavour, he has said that as tensions and hostilities rose between us and the Empire and after increasing raids into our borders we decided enough is enough and now we are pulling our whole warforce, that is along with the also harassed Made Alliance to crush these Swiss pests once and for all."

These are strong words, displaying that the Cheddar forces are unlikely to back down.
