BRIGHTENING

001. Open the picture of your choice in PSP. I will be using the MSN-sized picture below.

002. Go to Layers >> New Raster Layer... to create a new raster layer.

003. Fill the picture in with white. If you have followed the previous two instructions correctly, you should see only white. To use this to your advantage, go to Layers >> Properties... and turn your settings into mine:

004. Create another raster layer.

005. Fill in this new raster layer with black. Going to Layers >> Properties... again, turn your settings into mine:

006. You are finished! You have turned this picture...
