Okay, well have I got some news for you!!! The next meeting will have a Cosplay Contest!!! As far as I know there will be prizes and everything!!! It WILL be held at Northgate once again, but I promise we'll try to find a new place to meet!!! But you all better watch out, I've got a AWESOME cosplay in mind for the big event!!! And I'll be crossplaying for the first time as well. I'll be Kimimaro from Naruto, OR I'll bring a uber speical secret cosplay I've been working on for the past few weeks.. I'm sure that you all will make or pick out you're best cosplays for this Ultra Special Meeting!!!
Unfortunetly, the date is STILL not set. Next month's gonna be extremely busy for me. I've got 5 Christmas', A youth conferance with my church, AND the Christmas Parade here in Cleveland. So December is out of the question. BUT I'm certain it'll be in early Janurary. So check in every now and then for the date.

Okay first off...Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
And secondly...Thanks to everybody who came to the first meeting!!! It was a blast!!! The date has not been set for the second meeting. It will most likely be in Jan. Because of the holidays. It will be held in the Northgate Mall Food Court again unless we get someplace else in mind.
I had an idea, after watching various videos on youtube. It's a HUGE project to do, and It'll require a lot of detication, but I think that we'll be able to handle it. I'll anounce what the idea is during the next meeting!
The first meeting is up!! It's going to be on November 17th, at 1:00 in the Northgate Mall Food Court. Bring your favorite cosplay!!! Just nothing revealing please. Don't wanna be kicked out of the mall do we?
Cosplay is a portmanteau of the English words "costume" and "play", is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, Japanese pop music bands, Visual Kei, fantasy music stories (such as stories by the band Sound Horizon), and novels. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume.
In Japan, "cosplay" as a hobby is usually an end unto itself. Like-minded people gather to see others' costumes, show off their own elaborate handmade creations, take lots of pictures, and possibly participate in best costume contests.
