Banner rotations and paid-to-click will not require you to submit a site ad. Generally the site ads are exclusively for paid-to-read emails. I suggest that you test the referral URL and the banner URL prior to submitting it to the website. If neither of those are working, you just wasted money on advertising.
Redemptions of points or cash for advertising is also a good way to advertise and it is virtually FREE. Each website program will offer a different advertising package. Here are a couple examples:
10,000 banner rotations for $1.00 - If you have earned $1.00 or more you may be able to redeem the earned cash for the 10,000 rotations of your site banner. No guarantee anyone will click on it, but it still gets your website name "out there" for viewers to remember.
1500 points for .0025 (1/4 cent) email to 500 - This means that if you have accumulated 1500 points by clicking on emails and paid-to-click links at a particular website they are offering to exchange the 1500 points for sending out a paid email to their members. But only the first 500 who click on it are awarded the 1/4 cent into their account.
2000 banner clicks for $1.99 - Generally, in the website program you will find a section called paid-to-click. When a member clicks on YOUR banner, they will earn something offered by the webmaster in return. Possibly points will be awarded. You will be guaranteed that 2000 members will eventually click on your banner so that they might earn points in their account. Usually...these are pretty good at getting viewers to your website. What they do once they get there all depends on what they see when the webpage displays before they close the page.
