She has excellent ways to motivate children and to make lessons, practice and performances fun and rewarding. One of my favorite things her studio has done is to have a master class with Kevin Olsen, one of the composer's whose pieces a lot of children play. This was a fantastic experience both for our children and for us to watch."

Regina Ziliani is a gifted piano teacher who joyfully shares her love of music with her students! She is a very talented and accomplished musician in her own right, and has a contagious enthusiasm for musical performance. She has many creative ways to instruct and inspire her students, including the variety of music she uses in her instruction, computer-based learning tools, and "point" incentives (with prizes!) for lesson preparation. Points are also given for attendance at outside performances and other musical learning (e.g., composers, instruments, etc.) completed outside of lessons. This encourages a more complete musical instruction experience. In addition, "Mrs. Z" has a number of performance opportunities for her students to take advantage of throughout the year. She holds both a holiday and spring recital, and also encourages her students to take advantage of music festival and piano guild, the latter two which are judged by other piano teachers. Preparing for recitals, festival and guild requires students to practice and prepare at a higher level, which really helps accelerate the advancement in piano. Notably, Mrs. Z has a great personality for relating to students, particularly children. My two daughters are excited to go to piano lessons each week, and thoroughly enjoy their time with Mrs. Z! Also, there is the totally "off the hook" Halloween party that Mrs. Z and her husband regularly throw! In sum, I couldn't have dreamed up a better musical instruction experience for my daughters, and we choose to travel to Mrs. Z's studio each week even though there are a number of other teachers more convenient to our home. Who could possibly compare?

This is my daughter's second year taking piano lessons from Regina. Our family has been so pleased with the progress she has made in such a short period of time that my son has started taking lessons within the past four months and loves it just as much as my daughter. Regina is a patient and kind teacher. She gives the children lots of positive feedback and gives them the incentive to want to do their best. My children look forward to their lessons, playing the piano and the theory lessons Regina incorporates as well. They also cherish the recitals and competitions they are involved in, which gives them a purpose for learning to play and gives further incentive to work hard and do their best. Mrs. Z is the BOMB!

Mrs. Ziliani and her apprentice teacher have helped to foster a true love for music in my children. They not only "teach" them to play piano--they also encourage the children to understand and appreciate music as a whole. I have been very pleased with the progress that my children have made during their time with the Regina Ziliani Piano Studio.
My two children have been attending for six months and I am amazed at how quickly they are both progressing. Both Mrs. Ziliani and her apprentice teacher, Danika Weisheit, have exhibit the knowledge and the patience necessary to be effective in introducing young children to the magic of music.

Ever since Mrs. Ziliani was my piano teacher, my piano playing has improved 100 times more! Not only is she a good teacher, but she makes piano lessons fun!!! You might go in her house cranky or mad because of your day, but when you come out, you'll be so happy, that you'll feel like you've won a million dollars! Just imagine the look of that smile I have every week when I come out of her house! Mrs. Ziliani has all of the qualities of a good teacher. She's the best piano teacher I've ever had, and the best piano teacher in the world!
