Lauren King
2006-2007 Student of the Year
Congratulations to Lauren King, our Student of the Year! Lauren is a wonderful piano student and very dedicated.
This year she earned a Superior in Piano Solo at Festival and a perfect score on her theory exam. At the recital she was presented with a Practice Achievement Ribbon for her outstanding practice habits. May 14th she will also present an International program for Piano Guild, consisting of 15 memorized pieces.
Lauren also takes art lessons, swimming, tennis, and goes to Chinese school on the weekends. She is on Student Council at her middle school, the all "A" Honor Roll, and this year was the winner of the Duke University Talent Identification Program.
