I am very pleased to announce the opening of a music academy, and the realization of a dream. In August of 2008 Charlotte Academy of Music opened it's doors. In just three short months we have enrolled over 170 students, and have a team of professional, motivating teachers. The Academy offers lessons in piano, guitar, voice, flute, trumpet, violin and many other instruments. We also have unique opportunities for our students such as the Music Lab, Academy Children's Choir, and the Chamber Ensemble.
It has long been a dream of mine to have a music academy where families could have access to many different kinds of lessons. Also, as a teacher, I know how difficult it can be to find a proper teaching location. I am honored to be able to bring this academy to the Charlotte area both for families and professional musicians.
