Charlie Feathers Budgie Kingdom

Billy the Budgie wanted to be a Parrot,

He wanted it very much and a lot..

His mum and dad  "Don't be a fool

We are going to send you to school,

You are going to learn

It is wisdom you should yearn."

So Billy went to school,

But he remained a fool.

He put many school dinners

Into his inners.

.

This put Billy in a good mood,

And he ate lots and lots of food.

He went back for seconds and thirds,

And he grew bigger than all the other birds.

.

Into his tummy food he poured,

His mums and dads advice he ignored.

How to grow into a Parrot he found the key,

But instead he grew up to become a Turkey.

.

But when Christmas came around

He was plucked from the ground.

He came to a terrible fate,

He was cooked and served on a plate.

.

The other budgies lived for many years,

But Billy's mum is still in tears.

So listen to your father and mother,

Be yourself, don't try and be another.
