Ever though about making a website? Wanted people to know you for your work? Well this guide will teach you on how to make a website using HTML!
Why should I make a Site?
There are many reasons why you could make a site. How could really like an idea and want to help people with that subject. You could also be really good on computers and want to make one. There is loads more reasons why you should make one but I found it fun to make one.
How do I start?
Well 1st sign up on a website host to start off. I use
Freewebs but I have seen other sites with different free or paid hosts. After you sign up for your account (and I will say you used Freewebs) chose you site name, your e-mail etc. When you have a choice to chose a free template or if you look near the search for template thing, under it should be a a link that says if you don't want a template. Click that. A box should pop up and click OK. Chose what your site is about and stuff. After all that. Chose Build/Edit. Open a new window and search other websites or go to
Free Layouts.com and chose a layout. Now copy the layout. Open a Notepad page on your computer. Copy it all till where the content part starts but include the code that starts the content but not where the content goes. Put that on the Notepad file and save it as Top.txt. Now open an other Notepad page and copy everything after the content ends but include the part that closes the content as well. Save it as Bottom.txt and now go to your webpage site builder. Go to Single-File Up-loader and upload each file of those 2 files. Now go to the index page and delete all content that's there. Put

on the page. Now add the content in the middle of the 2. So it should look like:
Now go to you Top.txt file and change stuff so it suits your website's style. Like mine is a Charizard kind so I have it Orange and Red. If yours was a Blastoise, you could have it a blueish colour or something. I used

After you have tweaked your site with looks and links now you can add content. Click Add a page on your site manager and name it. Add the Upper and Lower codes. Put in your content and click save. Go to your Top file and add the page to your navbar under the the section you want. Keep on doing that till have added all your pages. After that, if you think you have a some good, solid content and a nice layout you can start looking for Affiliates and advertising on Forums and telling friends and stuff. After that, add more content, get a better layout and start Affiliating with bigger sites. Keep doing that but when I say add content, I mean like 10-15 pages of it. Add it it to your site and stuff.
So this is how to make a bigger site. Remember, At the start of your site, you may have like 30 pages of content but no one knows about it. So advertise it and Affiliate and remember to keep your self-a-steam up and not to let people bring you down!
Note: In the codes, remove the * at the start of it.
