These are thet latest Pokemon Games! They are for the Nintendo DS! There are lots of new features.
Poketch
It's like the Pokenavi of Diamond and Pearl, you get it from The Poketch Persident. It has a lot of good features like a clock, A step counter (Helps a lot with breading!), a Pokemon Breading Centre Checker(It's good too see when your Pokemon have an egg and how many levels it's gone up), A counter (Helps with EV training) and a calender
Male and Female Differenses
Now some Pokemon have look differnt if there a boy or girl. Some Pokemon don't have this though. Some main ones you can tell are: Male Pikachu:
Female Pikachu: 
See, The Female has a "v" shape in her tail. The Male looks normal.
Battle Changes
In old genorations, moves where Phsyical or Special by type, in Diamond and Pearl, they are devided by what they are, so here are a few examples: Fire Punch is now Phsyical, Hyper Beam is now Special. So a pokemon like Tyranitar who had a realy bad Speical Attack stat, and 1 of it's best STAB moves (Crunch), in now Physical. So he got realy improved by this. So did Hitmonchan and Gengar. Hitmonchan becuase he can use the Elamental Punchs and Gangar gets a STABed Sludge Bomb for its Special Attck stat. On the other hand, some Pokemon are weakned by this change. Take Alakazam for example now, was a great Special Sweeper, but it's main moves, the Elaemntal Punchs are now Phsyical, he might not be used as much now, or not at all. Luckly, new moves like Energy Ball and now Special Shhadow Ball, he still might be used.
New TMs and HMs!
In this gen, they have added 42 new TMs to make a toatal of 92 TMs and 8 HMs. With this, they did 1 great thing! Flash, is now no longer a HM! (Yes! Life is sweet!) They have made it a normal TM. In it's place, the made a move called Fog Clear. It's used a bit like Flash but not.
