Competitive Battling


Competitive Battling is a new feture in D/P. It was in others but it's more noticed now. CB (competitive Battling) is when you battle someone else who also has D/P. You battle them with Wi-Fi. You make a team and battle them.
Sweepers

Sweepers are the Pokemon you attack with. They have high Speed and Attack Stats. 3-4 are a good number to have.

Physical Sweepers
These Pokemon normaly have High Attack and Speed stats. They try to Knock out the opponent before they can hit back.
Common Damaging Attacks
Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Close Combat, Brick Break, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Elemantal Fangs/Punchs, Waterfall
Common Non-Damaging Attacks
Sward Dance, Agility, Bulk Up, Dragon Dance
Natures
Adamant, Jolly
Key Stats
Attack, Speed
Main Items used
Choice Band, Leftovers, Life Orb

Sepcial Sweepers
These are very simelar to the Physical Sweper but insted of the Attack stat, they use the Sp.Attack Stat.
Common Damaging Attacks
Psychic, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Thunder Bolt, Flamethrougher, Ice Beam, Surf, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse
Common Non-Damaging Attacks
Calm Mind, Rain Dance (when using Thunder), Sunny Day (when using Solorbeam), Nasty Plot
Natures
Modest, Timied
Key Stats
Sp.Attack, Speed
Main Items used
Choice Specs, Leftovers

Mixed Sweepers
Like both of the 2 together. These Pokemon have High Sp.Attack, Attack and Speed Stats and have a large move pool.

Check both other Sweepers
Natures
Hasty, Naive
Key Stats
Sp.Attack, Attack, Speed
Main Items used
Leftovers, Life Orb

Walls

Walls are used to stop Sweepers. They are your defence to your team. 2-3 are good numbers to have.

Physical Walls
These are to stop Physical Sweepers. The have high Defence and HP stats.
Common Healing Attacks
Roost, Rest (With Sleep Talk), Moonlight, Morning Sun
Common Stats Condition Attacks
Thunder Wave, Will-o-Whisp
Natures
Impish, Bold
Key Stats
Defence, HP
Main Items used
Leftovers

Sepcial Walls
These are like the hysical Wall but uses the Sp.Defence Stat not Defence.
