Cambodia's abused children

We have started with the support of a house for abused children in
Phnom Penh; we came across this project via our work.
The house named 'Sok Sabay' is having around 40 children from either very poor background and/or seriously abused homes.

Above is a selection of the children currently living in Sok Sabay

We already have supplied goods to them, and actually this house has a great support team to help.
However they have great new plans and more help will still be needed.

In the house the children can enjoy various forms of creativities being taught by real local teachers as well as English classes from teachers from abroad.
Also computer classes are a part of their daily curriculum.

In October 2005 a new book was launched in Singapore. It is called "Spirit of Cambodia" (Lumieres du Cambodge) and it is filled with beautiful drawings of daily life in Cambodia. The artist, Marie-Lys Ameil made these drawings during her trips to Cambodia.   All proceeds of the book go to Sok Sabay.

You can find them here:    http://www.soksabay.com/
