A giant burst of Mugical sparks accompanies the Song of Stasis and is a mighty sight to behold. The seven notes of the Song of Stasis are like the sound of heavy chains to those who are its targets - they know all too well that they soon will be Mugically rendered unable to move. Immobility, obviously, is not a desirable thing to suffer amidst the heat of battle. Those who do not move, do not Attack.

When one hears the sound of the Canon of Casualty, fear is terrible and immediate. The Canon of Casualty is among the most potent UnderWorld Mugic, castable only by those inhabited by the great Mugicians of the UnderWorld. From a distance it has a certain beauty, like a solar flare, but its terrible effect in Perim is a fearsome, fiery column that deals appalling damage!

The disturbing strains of the Discord of Disarming can send chills down the spines of nearly all Perim's Creatures. When this Mugic rings out its mad melodic mayhem over the land, armor melts, vehicles grind to a halt, and Mugic Lyres fall silent. No Battlegear can survive the sound of the Discord of Disarming. The other Tribes have all tried to copy the effect of this potent UnderWorld Mugic, but without success.

The Melody of Malady is not heard very often. Few UnderWorlders have mastered the call of its symphonic sounds. It is a unique Mugic among the UnderWorlders with its two contrasting aspects. Its initial melody rings destructive and powerful, but underneath this imposing melody sounds a fainter one - a melody that builds the Energy of those in battle. This combination of destruction and empowerment is quite uncommon, especially in the UnderWorld.

When Mugical melodies collide, amazingly beautiful harmonies can sometimes arise. At other times, terrible dissonance is the result. Only the greatest Muges can understand and master these interactions, thus creating powerful Mugic like the Refrain of Denial (OverWorld). Its odd melody intertwines with the sounds of Generic or OverWorld Mugic and disrupts them. Where once there was Mugical force and order, the refrain leaves only a mish-mash of useless noise.

The straightforward tonalities of the Song of Asperity demonstrate the destructive adaptability that UnderWorld Mugic grants to its targets. This simple song lets UnderWorlders give themselves or others explosive strength in the elements of Fire and Air, instantly increasing the intensity of their Attacks. The Song of Asperity often booms out when UnderWorlders are in combat. When the song sounds, all of Perim knows that an UnderWorlder is about to launch an offensive strike.

Gnarling and twisted, wrath itself has taken Mugical form in the Song of Fury. This UnderWorld Mugic shows that the true power of the UnderWorld lies in its anger. Strangely beautiful to watch as it builds and turns in casting, its effects are harsh, hideous, and horrifying to behold. The Song of Fury fuels the rage of many UnderWorlders, causing instant energy loss to the enemy and fortifying all Fire Attacks, the Element favored by most of Chaor's seething hordes.

The Song of Revival (UnderWorld), with its fearsome pillar of Mugical flame, may well be the single most powerful Mugic of the UnderWorld. It is certainly one of the rarest. Calling upon its intricate notes, a fallen UnderWorlder can be returned to battle. The song sounds both tragic and hopeful, signaling the pain of defeat and promise of return. A Mugician from Perim's distant past may have been thinking of this Mugic when he intoned, "Anything that once was … cannot be lost forever."

The first notes of the Song of Treachery are fierce and short-lived, like sparks flying from an anvil. As the Mugic gathers melodic power, however, the notes that follow reveal the song's deceptive power. The Mugical sparks suddenly flare into intense bursts of draining energy. Without warning, the targeted Creature experiences an alarming drop of physical and mental Strength, Speed and bravery, leaving the poor Creature open to a multitude of Attacks.

The Hive is the source of all things Danian. Within it, all Danians act as a unit and their Discipline powers and strengths are multiplied considerably. The Hive itself is a Location that resonates with Mugical power. Activating the Chorus of the Hive is more than simply calling other Danians to arms. It is the ultimate expression of Danian Mugic that harnesses the power of Danian cooperation and funnels it into a Mugical demonstration of the entire Tribe's power.

When melodies of Mugic mingle, sometimes great symphonic beauty arises. Other times, bestial dissonance results. Only the greatest Muges know how to combine the songs of the Mugicians. The Refrain of Denial (OverWorld/UnderWorld) is based on such insight. Its odd melody interferes with the sounds of OverWorld or UnderWorld Mugic to render them useless. The Refrain cancels out the other Tribe's Mugic, interrupting their plans and giving Danians the upper hand in combat.

The Song of Mandiblor is a Mugic almost as familiar as the Chorus of the Hive. The Song of Mandiblor grants the individual Danian the Discipline strengths of the collective of the Tribe, granting the target Creature more Speed, Wisdom, Courage and Strength. The potency of the seven notes of the Song of Mandiblor grows with the number of Danian allies targeted by the song. This kind of "scalability" is typical of much Danian Mugic.

Resistance and adaptability are two traits that the Danians and their powerful Hive structure master better than any of the other Tribes. A prime example is the Song of Resistance, which affords the target Creature substantial damage reduction. Naturally, Mugic of such power is not limited in its choice of targets. A Danian can help anyone with the Song of Resistance, but will rarely help those who stand outside the Hive.

Danian Tribal legend has it that the Song of Surprisal is a mere front to something more Mugical and mysterious. The Song of Surprisal's seven notes grant its target additional movement and Range, allowing the affected Creature to perform with greater versatility and effectiveness in battle. However, the true purpose of this mysterious Mugic may not be to benefit its target but something altogether different and unseen.

The Song of Symmetry interlinks the target and the Mugic caster, dealing damage to the target while transferring the lost Energy back to the caster. This seemingly perfect synchronization of the caster and the target is something which great Danian Muges like Lore are trying to take even further.

One of the most fearsome facets of Invisibility is its offensive power. Enemies are exponentially more effective when they are unseen. The seven notes of the Fanfare of the Vanishing bestow on their target the mastery of the Mipedian Invisibility Strike. This fast and furious Attack affords a huge advantage, particularly in the early stages of a battle. This exceptional Mugic makes Invisibility available to any target a Mipedian caster chooses.

This coveted defensive Mugic is among the most sought after in all Perim. The powerful and haunting melody summons a virtual copy of the target. By fooling the opposing Creature in battle, the mirage draws the Attack to itself, causing all damage of that Attack to be wasted. It's a Mugic that matches the essence of the Mipedians' invisibility: deceptive and effective!

Much of the Mipedian Mugic have strange altering properties, and the Notes of Neverwhere is a prime example. The Mugical effect of the Notes temporarily removes all abilities from the Location. This can be a crucial advantage in battle, especially to Creatures whose Attacks and abilities are dampened or neutralized by a certain Location.

Though opinions differ, the Song of Deflection is arguably the greatest of all Mipedian Mugic. There's no doubt that it's one of the trickiest and most treacherous. It captures another Mugic and redirects it at a new target, usually the caster of the original Mugic. It's both Mugical denial and Mugical re-targeting ... and it's as punishing as the desert itself.

When the Song of Recovery is cast by a Mipedian Mugician, it tells all who hear it a tale of empowerment. This beautiful seven note song resounds from within its heptagonal source. It both offers Mugical healing and restores Mugical Air Element energy. For Mipedians, who are often skilled in the Element of Air, this Mugic helps them recover from Attacks and prepare to mount new ones.

This disabling Mipedian Music is also dangerously deceptive. The beautiful swirls of color that descend upon the target Creature are in sharp contrast to the devastating effect of the Trills of Diminution. The Mugic temporarily removes any special abilities normally possessed by the target Creature.
