A Power Pulse Attack is recognizable by an intense burst of force that leaves an extensive path of destruction in its wake. To get the full effect of Power Pulse, the Attacker must have greater Power than the defending Creature. Power Pulse is favored by powerful Creatures like Grook, but it's also a great Attack for those with only moderate Power.
Power Pulse deals a minimum of 10 damage. However, if a Power Challenge is won by the Attacker, Power Pulse deals an extra 10 damage. At a Build Cost of 2, this can be an excellent Attack ... for the right Creature.

When making a Quick Exit, the Attacker gains the advantage by using the surroundings to confuse and exhaust the opponent. However, Quick Exit will only have an effect if the Attacker can outsmart the opponent. Naturally, Quick Exit is favored by Creatures of great Wisdom, including Tartarek and Najarin. For other Creatures with lower Wisdom, the Attack might fail and is often only used as a desperate last resort.
Quick Exit isn't a guaranteed damage dealer. However, if a player wins a Wisdom Challenge, the target opponent will suffer 10 damage. Not a bad result for a Build Cost of 0!

The Rip Tide Attack unleashes torrents of water upon the target. If Rip Tide is used by an experienced Water Element user, the damaging effect is doubled, and anyone caught in the tide will be greatly disadvantaged by this impressive Attack. Rip Tide is primarily used by OverWorlders who are masters of the Element of Water.
Rip Tide will always do a little damage, but, when the user is skilled in the Element of Water, Rip Tide will do 10 damage and leave the target stunned and discouraged during the remaining battle.

The Rock Wave Attack summons a swell of rocks from the ground that surges quickly towards the target. Massive boulders strike the target, potentially doing great damage in the process. If Creatures using this Attack have enough Wisdom, they can calculate the optimal timing and angle of the wave in order to increase the damage. Rock Wave is one of Maxxor's signature Attacks. He's mastered the might of the Rock Wave.
Rock Wave deals 5 Base Damage and 5 damage, if the wielder has Elemental type Earth. In addition, high Wisdom allows for improved accuracy and increases the damage by 10.

Rustoxic draws upon the Elemental types of Earth and Water to spray a corrosive toxin on the target. If the Attacker has greater Courage than the target, the duration of the spray may be extended, increasing the potential damage considerably. Rustoxic is known to be one of Crawsectus' favorite Attacks, and he uses it with great skill and Courage.
Rustoxic will only have an effect when used by a skilled wielder. Earth and Water Elemental type both increase the damage of Rustoxic by 5, and a successful Courage Challenge will add 10 damage.

The Shadow Strike generates a looming, lunging shadow that attacks its target while the Attacker watches in safety. If the target doesn't have the Courage to resist his or her fears and confront the frightening phantasm, they find themselvers in deep, dark trouble. Shadow Strike's used by many Creatures throughout Perim and is said to be one of Drakness' favorite Attacks. (Duh!)
The effect of Shadow Strike depends solely on the Courage of the target. If the Attacker wins a Courage Challenge, Shadow Strike deals 10 damage. Otherwise, it has no effect.

With Shriek Shock, the Attacker releases a high-pitched shriek, which sends forth shocking sonic energy. Assuming that the Attacker has sufficient Speed to out-position their opponent and perfectly aim the Shriek Shock, the target loses 5 Energy. Shriek Shock is used by those Creatures possessing the necessary Speed and agility. One of these Creatures is Dractyl, who likes to get a shrieking start by using Shriek Shock when going into combat.
The Attacker must be quite fast for Shriek Shock to work. If it does, the Attack deals 5 damage. Because Build Cost is 0, Shriek Shock is a good routine Attack.

When using Skeletal Strike, a skeletal apparition bursts from the Attacker and assaults the target, doing great damage. If the target is very courageous, however, some of the potential damage may be avoided, depending on the Attacker's Courage level. But make no mistake: no one escapes a Skeletal Strike unscathed. Because Skeletal Strike is such a powerful yet easily mastered Attack, it's widely used, though it's most common in the UnderWorld, perhaps because of its ghastly nature.
Skeletal Strike has a Base Damage of 10, but if a Courage Challenge is won by the Attacker, Skeletal Strike deals an additional 10 damage. It's a potent Attack with a Build Cost of 2.

The Sleep Sting Attack sprays a barrage of stingers at the opponent. The stings themselves deal some minor damage, but if the Attacker can win a Wisdom Challenge, the target of Sleep Sting will suffer additional damage. Sleep Sting is most commonly wielded by Creatures of considerable Wisdom, such as Tartarek and Drakness, as they're most likely to benefit from the full effect of the Attack.
If the Attacker wins a Wisdom Challenge against the enemy, Sleep Sting does 10 Base Damage and an additional 10 damage. At a Build Cost of 2, this is a great Attack with huge potential.

The Sludge Gush Attack is a violent gush of muddy mire that shoots towards the target. The impact deals considerable damage on impact, but if the Attacker is skilled in the use of Earth or Water, the sludge becomes thicker, heavier and more toxic, increasing the damage done by the Attack. The Sludge Gush is favored by Crawsectus, Laarina and Slurhk. All are members of the OverWorld Tribe who have mastered the use of both Earth and Water.
Sludge Gush does 10 Base Damage upon initial impact. Earth and Water Elemental skill increases the damage by 5 each, as the sludge becomes thicker and more toxic, damaging those covered in the muck.

Creating a Spirit Gust Attack requires great Courage, and it's not for the fainthearted. When properly used, Spirit Gust sends forth a blast of weird, wailing spirits. Creatures caught in the Spirit Gust can become unhinged by the horrific vision of the spirits. Spirit Gust is used in most parts of Perim, though, not surprisingly, UnderWorlders seem to have a particular affinity for this Attack.
If the Attacker uses the Spirit Gust properly, any Creature caught in the swirl of spirits will suffer 5 damage. With a Build Cost of 0, Spirit Gust is a great Attack for those with high Courage.

The Squeeze Play Attack allows the Attacker to grasp his opponent, holding him in his grossly oversized grip for a short while. While the squeeze itself deals only a little bit of damage, this Attack gives the wielder just enough time to prepare their next Attack, which usually proves to be a great advantage. Squeeze Play has no real requirements and is a cost-effective Attack. As it's useable by anyone, this Attack is popular among all the Tribes.
Squeeze Play deals 5 damage. More importantly, it offers a considerable plus on the following Attack. The Attacker can better plan the next Attack, as his foe is "tied up" for a moment.

A Steam Rage Attack is created when water is drawn from the Location and heated by Fire Elemental Energy. This happens in a flash and results in a violent explosion of steam, which blasts from the Attacker with great force. Because Steam Rage requires both Elemental type Fire and Water for full effect, it's rarely mastered. One Creature who's mastered Steam Rage is the legendary Heptadd. Other Creatures often rely on Battlegear to get the full effect of Steam Rage.
If the Attacker is skilled in both Fire and Water, Steam Rage deals 5 damage for each of the two Elements. The Build Cost of Steam Rage is 1, and it is a cost-effective Attack for the qualified Creature.

The Telekinetic Bolt Attack relies on telekinetic force to bash the opponent and may cause considerable damage. The effect's so powerful it can even leave its mark on solid rock. To truly master Telekinetic Bolt, one needs to be both courageous and wise. The UnderWorlder Khybon counts Telekinetic Bolt among his favored Attacks.
Telekinetic Bolt deals a minimum of 10 damage. If a Courage and Wisdom challenge is won by the wielder, Telekinetic Bolt deals an extra 10 damage and invigorates the Attacker.

The Thunder Shout Attack generates a burst of intense sound that draws upon the Energy of Air and Earth. Thunder Shout damages its targets by combining these two Elemental forms of force into a devastating shout summoned by the Attack. If the Attacker is skilled with both Air and Earth, Thunder Shout is very destructive. Most users, however, are often weak in one or both and will need to rely on Battlegear or Mugic to sufficiently wield both Elements that comprise Thunder Shout.
Thunder Shout only functions when the user has Elemental type Air or Earth. It deals 10 damage for each of the two Elements and has a Build Cost of 2, making it cost-effective for a skilled wielder.

The Tornado Tackle sweeps the battlefield with two huge, hungry tornados. If the Attacker is a skilled Air user, it is possible to control the tornados and let them collide - hence the name: Tornado Tackle. After such a collision, those Creatures who are Engaged in combat will have had their Attack potentially reset. Any Creature with Elemental type Air can utilize the Tornado Tackle. Whether or not they want to poses an entirely different - and strategic - question.
Creatures with Elemental type Air can use Tornado Tackle to force combatants to reshuffle their Attack Cards, thereby creating a more equal situation. At a Build Cost of 0, this is a formidable Attack.

When this Attack is made, an overwhelming Torrent of Flame rushes towards the target, as if the flames have been liquified. Creatures caught by the Torrent of Flame are struck by intense heat as well as by the physical force of the Torrent stemming from the Water Element of this Attack. A few Creatures have mastered this Attack, but most Creatures must rely on Battlegear -- such as the Pyroblaster or the Liquilizer -- in order to use Torrent of Flame to its full effect.
Torrent of Flame only has effect in the hands of wielders with Elemental types Fire and Water. For each Element the wielder controls, the Attack deals 10 damage.

With Toxic Gust, the Attacker creates a gust of gas that causes considerable damage. Creatures with Elemental type Fire and Air can heat the gas to increase the density of the cloud, thereby increasing the effect of the Attack. This Attack is known to Creatures throughout Perim but is rarely mastered fully. One Creature who has mastered this Attack is the Mipedian Marquis Darini, who often uses Toxic Gust to gain the upper hand against opponents.
Toxic Gust deals a minimum of 10 damage, but Creatures with Elemental type Fire or Air can add 5 damage for each Element. Thus, to the right Creature, it is definitely worth the 3 point Build Cost.

Unsanity is a specialized Attack optimized for Creatures who possess great Wisdom and can effectively wield Air and Water Elemental type Attacks. When the Unsanity Attack hits its mark, the unfortunate victim effectively loses his mind and will. Understandably, in the hands of Creatures such as Sobtjek and Blügon, Unsanity can be a battle's winning factor.
Unsanity has a Build Cost of 1. It deals 0 Base Damage and 5 Air and Water damage. In addition, an Attacker may deal an extra 10 damage if a Challenge Wisdom 15 is successful.

With Velocitrap, the Attacker lures his or her target into an ambush and uses superior Speed to Attack the defenseless opponent from all sides - literally giving them the runaround. Viewed from the outside, the Velocitrap seems to be a tornado of movement that closes in on the target. If the Attacker is not fast enough, the Velocitrap won't work and will have no effect. Velocitrap can be used by anyone but is favored by Creatures of great Speed, including Qwun, Attacat and Gespedan.
Velocitrap will only have an effect only if the Attacker is faster than the intended target and can win a Speed Challenge. In that case, Velocitrap deals 10 damage at a Build Cost of 0.

With Vine Snare, the Attacker shoots out strong, fibrous vines that entangle and anchor the opponent, usually to the ground. If the Vine Snare Attack is made by a skilled Earth user, it's very hard to quickly escape the Snare. The target will also be slowed down during the rest of the battle. Vine Snare is favored by Creatures with Elemental type Earth and is, therefore, mainly used by OverWorlders and Danians who have a long-standing tradition of using this Element.
Vine Snare deals 5 Base Damage. When used by a Creature with Elemental type Earth, Vine Snare deals an extra 5 damage and slows the opponent by reducing his or her Speed by 25.

When using Viperlash, the Attacker produces a twisting lash of Perimian dreadvipers which snap and strike at the enemy, doing substantial damage. This Attack is used by Creatures all over Perim as it's very effective and easily mastered, though some Creatures avoid using the Attack due to its high cost.
Anyone hit by a Viperlash Attack suffers 15 points of damage. It's an expensive Attack with a Build Cost of 3, but it's usually worth it as Viperlash is almost always effective.

With the Windslash Attack, the wielder summons a wind that reveals any Battlegear that an opponent may have hidden. Windslash can be used by any Creature and offers a primarily strategic advantage, though many UnderWorlders prefer to use more direct, damage-dealing types of Attacks. Windslash is often used by Mipedians who want to know if their enemies are equipped with Spectral Viewers.
The Windslash Attack deals 5 damage to the opponent. But, more importantly, all concealed Battlegear in an opponent's army is revealed.
