Join us for chilling and informative tours lead by Mike McDowell, Founder, President & CEO of the Indiana Ghost Trackers. Mike has over 8 years experience in doing haunted tours of NW Indiana and over 10 years experience investigating many haunted locations around America.

Eric "the undead" Bevel - Long time ghost hunter and good friend and associate of Mikes. Knows amazing amounts of ghost lore of Lake County. Has been doing the LC route since 2002.
Most Bus Tours are 4 hours in length and start at 7 PM.
Some may run over 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Lake County Tours start in Crown Point in front of East side the Old Courthouse on the Square. Porter County tours start at the Old Jail Museum in downtown Valparaiso. The Brand new "Dark Shores" tour begins at the visitors center of Porter County. The amazing events of Northwest Indiana history have left traces of themselves for us to explore. On the fringes of Chicago, Northwest Indiana has a rich history and many areas easy to visit. There are many areas that are commonly visited by ghost hunters which display mysterious and paranormal events occurring at a regular basis!
Join us as we visit these tragic sites and decide for yourself if they are truly haunted or just tales of merely myth and folklore.
The real research of ghost hunters combined with lively storytelling will make for an exciting and enjoyable evening for everyone.
Tour Locations: These are a few of the places we visit with each tour. Lake County: Old Courthouse, Old Jail, Crimminal Court building and other downtown Crown Point hauntings, Kaler Middle School, Kaske home, Hitchhiking ghosts of Reeder Road and Cline Ave, The freak circus train wreck of Hammond - that left 86 people dead in a matter of moments, burned beyond recognition in many cases and much more! Meets at the old Courthouse, on the east side, in downtown Crown point.
Porter County: Old Jail Museum, Courthouse, Historic Opera house, other downtown Valparaiso hauntings, Sunset hill farm, Ghost Road with its deep eerie fogs that conseal its many phantoms, a lonesome cemetery that harbors gruesome tales yet unheard to the living, a NEW mystery location added in 2007!, Old hotels where the guests haven't left, Mansions and homes of Mystery, where unusual occurrences are said to happen and the old County poor farm (asylum) and more! Meets at the Old Jail Museum in downtown Valparaiso
The Brand NEW Dark Shores tour: Covers the Porter - Chesterton area. Some locations include Flint Lake Ghosts, Brown Mansion hauntings, Woodinville train accident site that left 59 dead in 1909, Stagecoach road, Diana of the Dunes, Furnessville Schoolhouse & cemetery, Devils Bridge, a Waverly road haunting and many more! Meets at the visitors center on route 49, just north of I-94.
The Haunted Pub Crawl:
For a different tour of darkness, join us for a trip to the haunted pubs of Northwest Indiana. The tour is roughly 3 1/2 hours in length starting at 7 PM. We’ll visit frightful destinations and the haunted sites in between. You’ll enjoy the spirited history and the spirited drinks along the way. We’ll visit 4 - 6 haunted establishments, depending on the time and constitution of our guests. We'll spend more time at these haunted establishments then what we would on a normal tour, exploring their darker and spookier past and hauntings while sipping our favorite beverages.
Join us for this lighthearted yet spirit filled event. Ages 21 and over only! Alcohol is not provided or required but is certainly encouraged. This is by bus although no alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the bus (Per rules and regulations of the bus company). Some of the stops for this tour include: Franklin House, Old Heritage Inn, Hall of Justice, North Side Tap, Val's Famous Pizza and Drennas.
The Midnight Special
Craving the true ghost hunting experience? This rare and limited tour will focus more on actual ghost hunting. Although we do a fair amount on our regular tour, the number of sites will be trimmed down to focus on only 2 - 3 of our favorite haunts in the "dead" of night. Some sites may be visited that you won't see during our normal tours. We will spend more time looking and less time traveling. Are you ready for this?
Private Tours: Times, pickup locations and stops can be altered for any private tours! Any size group. Rates vary by group size.

Tour sites will have a variety of stops. There will be an opportunity to get out of the bus and take pictures at a few of these locations. The tour is partly done by bus with some limited walking involved. It will consist of 8 - 12 haunted locations plus a number of ghost stories from the area, Ghost Photos, EVP demonstrations, use of real ghost hunting equipment on the tour and much more!
