An eco friendly backwater stay in Kerala
Our Land Resort is a very simple and beautiful Kerala style resort situated in the corner part of
a six acre island surrounded by back waters. Ourland covers almost 1/3 of this island area.
One can see the beautiful sight of long stretches of lush green paddy fields from this island
which will be an unforgettable scene. Another main attractions of Ourland is that it has in it
a large variety of trees mainly Coconut trees, Bamboo, Banana, Mango tree, Jack fruit tree,
Cashew , Guava, Gooseberry tree, Aini tree etc etc. More than thirty species of rare birds
can be found around the locale making us feel as if we are in a bird sanctuary.
We provide the guest with hammocks in between the trees where they can Read,
Relax and then slip in to deep sleep in the windy natural atmosphere breathing fresh air.
Those who are interested in fishing, we have the very traditional facilities for that too.
We arrange small boat rides through the water bodies surrounding the resort. If one is
brave enough to row the boat alone we provide that facility too. Another experience
will be the walks through the village seeing the daily life of the people and mingling with them.
This will be surely an unforgettable event for those who need to discover Kerala closely.
