Your input is crucial to my success; therefore we will work as partners throughout the commissioning process.

I will initially ask you to express your ideas and vision. I will offer recommendations for the piece based on all of the information we have shared. We will then discuss materials, colours, and the function of the piece. This initial consultation will also help to set timelines and approximate costs.

I may also ask you to come to my home studio to view my work so that you can better decide on your choice of materials. This visit will also provide an opportunity for you to experience how my art actually looks in a residential or commercial setting.

After the initial consultation, I will provide a draft drawing. We will share more ideas and discuss changes, if required. We will confirm the final measurements, colours and materials at this time, and a non-refundable design fee of 25% of the total project estimate will be set to commence the work.

The final balance of fees will be due upon delivery of the art; however, depending on the size of the project, the time required to complete it, or the cost of materials, I may request that another 25% be deposited midway through completion.

Whether you are commissioning my art for yourself, as a gift for someone you love, or for public viewing, I will do my best to ensure that the final product complements the location and the recipient’s personality and tastes, and that it will continue to bring joy to viewers for years to come.
