My friend Chris and I took our children to the Awana State Grand Prix Finals in Waxahachie, TX near Dallas. Chris is a Master Mechanic, and is very good at what he does. He pays very close attention to details. My son has not been able to beat any of the cars that they have built. Chris even came over and aligned our car and we still couldn't beat them. Well, at least we come in second.
My son came in 7th in the T&T division. Patrick, Chris' son, placed first in the T&T division. At the end they took the top 2 from each division and had a grudge match, and Patrick's car beat them all. A very fast car.
How does he do it? It is a secret...no, not a secret, but it takes a little time to make a fast car. Chris hopes in the future that he will make a video on how to make a State champion car.
It was a fun day. I can't wait till next year's race.
