Lt.j.g Richard Kennedy is a fifth generation Star-Fleet brat. There was a Kennedy on NX-01, serving under Captain Jonathon Archer. The Kennedy's have a history of service, including Star-Fleet and the Federation Council. Kennedy's have been Captains and Admirals, Planetary Governors and Ambassadors, and even Senators and Presidents on old Earth.

Professional History:

Richard is also a scholar, constantly studying, increasing his scientific knowledge and his value as a Star-Fleet officer. Immediately after the Academy he was assigned to the USS Polaris in 2nd Fleet where he has acquired his rank as well as his position of Acting Chief Science Officer.
