Welcome to Caring for the Heart Ministries of Kansas! We are excited that you are interested in this ministry. “Caring for the Heart-Kansas” is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Our services include:
3 hour consultations for those seeking help 4 day intensives for marital cases (4 consecutive days; 3-4 hours per day) 3 day intensives for individual cases (3 consecutive days; 3-4 hours per day)
We have found that intensive work allows restoration to happen with far greater impact rather than the traditional counseling approach.
Other services include:
On-site training for interested caregivers Numerous resource tools for helping the church and lay person assist hurting people Pastor to Pastor encouragement. The Director of CFTH-KS (Doug Hood) spent several years ministering in the local church. He has a special heart for those in pastoral leadership needing encouragement, etc.
“Caring for the Heart-Kansas” has a 5 member board of directors who provide vision and accountability.
