Hello! Welcome to the site for the overly-obsessed Twilighters! This is a site focused on Twilight and anything that is related to the Twilight series ( Captain Obvious to the rescue...) I will update news here every once in a while, more so on weekends when I have more time to breathe. There will not only be news, but different fun things that can be found all over the site. Have a peek in the Photo Gallery, and enjoy yourself at apples and, well, vampires (which is filled with random things). For all you Harry Potter fans- you're at the wrong place. XD hihi, no, but at Harry Potter will be Twilight-Harry Potter related articles. The rest you have to find out yourself^^ Have a vamptastic time!
News for Today:
Sorry for the lack of updates!! I've been extremely busy all summer (not having a single night of sleep more than 5 hours) and now with school starting, not having much of a chance in front of the computer. I'll try to update from time to time though :)
On a more positive note, I'm going to add two more pages, The Hunger Games, and The Host. Mostly Because they are my new obsessive passions, and it would be a sin not to have pages dedicated to them. On those pages I'll try to keep updates, photos, and forums where you could discuss the pages:)

Right now, you're probably going to hear "OK" by Holly Conlan. I'm a big fan of her work, and this is no exception. I chose this song as the first song, because I can hear some similarity from Edward's point of view. This may be his selfish thoughts in the beginning. SM did tell us that Edward is very unsecure, and therefore I can imagine him having these kind of feelings. At the same time, it's the exact opposite. It's like a mix between Bella's and Edward's feelings. Mostly Edward, though. It's like a duett between the two.^^ click here if you want to see who I think says what.

With the filming of New Moon under way in Vancouver, the newest batch of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart romance rumors should start rolling out any day now.
Even though the two laugh off the persistent claims of a real-life love affair, that hasn't stopped many from thinking otherwise.
So what's really going on? Their costars have some ideas…
Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, tells me the cast and crew have pretty much ignored the gossip.
"I can't even think of those two together at all," he told me during his recent stop in Los Angeles for the launch of Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight: Director's Notebook. "Kristen has a boyfriend! It's onscreen and that's it."
Ashley Greene, aka Alice Cullen, says Pattinson and Stewart are, in a way, victims of their own success.
"Their chemistry is fantastic, but no, they are not in a romantic relationship," Greene said at the Twilight at Midnight DVD launch event at Hollywood's Hot Topic store. "They are good actors [is] basically what it comes down to."
She added, "That's kind of the advantage that we had on Twilight. Everyone has such great chemistry. With as big a cast as it was, and as young a cast as it was, we all just got along so fantastically."

It was a busy weekend in the MTV/Twilight-verse as we chased down secret parties and events all timed to celebrate the DVD release of ‘Twilight.” It’s no surprise that the fans came out in force for the long-awaited release but the numbers are still pretty impressive.
One of the events we covered featured a surprise appearance by none other than Ashley Greene. Check out a slew of photos here and check out Ashley herself below as she talks about her surprise at the amazing success of the first “Twilight” film.

Um ... we have to talk about New Moon, you know that.
“[We are] just picking up where we left off. The story, there's like a six-month period where the first one ended, and the second one picks up, but nothing has changed. They're at a good, solid point in their relationship. I'm interested to see him leave because that's what the first one is entirely based on, that abandoned devotion ultimate love story. Now she's going to be stripped of that, and Bella is actually an interesting character on her own.”
Steroids? Jacob? Wha?
“Taylor Lautner is Jacob. It was under deliberation for a while, so we're glad that he's doing it … He's jacked. It's crazy … He's not on steroids … I've seen the steady progression, and I've seen him a lot since then. If I had seen Taylor who did Twilight to the Taylor right now who's about to start New Moon, he's an entirely different person physically. I mean, it took him so much time. He's so devoted. He's amped, really excited.”

Just want to you to know that the Eagle Picture's Official Twilight WebSite today indicated that they talked with the Municipality of Montepulciano, which denied the rumor that New Moon would be shot in town during the period from 25th to 30th of May. (They denied the timeframe, not the fact that Montepulciano will host the shooting).
Which translates into:
"We have to give you some bad news: the Pro Loco (tourism office) of Montepulciano wrote us to say that the municipality administration denied the rumours on the dates of the shooting of New Moon in Italy: The dates of 25-30th of May actually are neither certain, nor confirmed. The only official channel enabled to provide sure information regarding this matter will be Montepulciano's municipality, from which we'll be expecting an official communication shortly. This does not deny the shooting in Montepulciano, just the dates reported before..."
The Official Eagle Site says that Montepulciano doesn't refute the fact that is involved with the film but strongly said that doesn't know nothing about the days and that just the municipality can talk about the movie, not with the Tourism Association."
Unfortunately, given the current situation in Italy, rumors are fast to spread, and sometimes even "pushed" a little.
SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT RUNS WITH THE WOLF PACK IN THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON
Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon
and Tyson Houseman to Star as Members of Wolf Pack
Los Angeles, CA March 23, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that Native American/First Nation actors Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman have signed on to star as the members of the wolf pack in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON. In the film, the wolf pack defends humans against vampires although they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family. The wolf pack members will join Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and fellow wolf pack member Taylor Lautner in the film directed by Chris Weitz which will be released domestically November 20, 2009.

Hell-OH Alex Meraz. He plays Paul in New Moon – here he is photographed on the weekend in Vancouver. Hot. SO hot. Alex was overheard telling people that he’ll be the “bad wolf” in the movie. Bad is good. Bad works for me.
I found this article, which is kinda scary when you think about it. But maybe scary in a good way?

MTV's Larry Carroll has a short report from the DVD release party with Ashley Greene.
As I walked through the courtyard, a bunch of girls on a walkway shrieked at me – obviously, awesome MTV fans! Witnessing that exchange, two women walked up and asked what was going on. “Well, the ‘Twilight’ DVD goes on sale at midnight,” I said. “And someone from the movie is going to be in Hot Topic.”
“Are you in the movie?” they asked excitedly.
“Yes,” I replied. “I’m Robert Pattinson. Nice to meet you.”
As funny as it to think there are two women out there who now believe RPattz looks likes me, the best was yet to come. Ashley was sitting in a secret room waiting for us, looking beautiful in a red dress. She was very excited to hear about the size of the crowd, had a big hug for me, and I interviewed her for about ten minutes.

'Twilight' filmmakers and cast members showed up to surprise fans at DVD release parties around the country, and ET was on hand to see the shocked and surprised attendees at one party in the Los Angeles area where Ashley Greene appeared.
Fans at parties around the country not only picked up their own copy of 'Twilight,' but they got a chance to meet their favorite on-screen vamps and mortals -- in the flesh! Watch our video to see all the excitement and chaos unfold!

Robert Pattinson talks to Seacrest about dealing with fame and being asked to be part of the Oscars: "I was laughing in the car on the way over here. It is completely ridiculous." He readily admits he can never hope to be as charming as his "Twilight" character.
And he says his rehearsal for tonight was "catastrophic.

Sequels can often take years to get made, but fans looking to sink their teeth into more “Twilight” won’t have to wait too long.
The third film in the series, “Eclipse,” will arrive on June 30, 2010, Summit Entertainment confirmed to Access Hollywood. Sequel “New Moon” is due November 20 of this year.
Moreover, the series now has a name; based on the beloved novels of author Stephenie Meyer, the series has been officially named “The Twilight Saga.”
Chris Weitz will helm “New Moon,” which will see stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who penned “Twilight,” will adapt both “New Moon” and “Eclipse.”

Now that it's been confirmed that he'll reprise the role of Jacob Black in the film’s sequel, New Moon, Lautner is one busy guy. He told us he's been hitting the gym to beef up for the role before he heads up to Canada to start shooting the second movie in the Twilight saga. Apparently, the entire movie will be shot within a two-month time frame with a week on location in Italy--where we can't wait to meet the Volturi character Jane, rumored to be played by Dakota Fanning. But first...Taylor will join Robert Pattinson to head to the far East for Japanese premiere of Twilight this weekend.

Okay, Twilighters, here’s the good news: You’ve made it to prime time. The release date is in late June, prime tentpole territory typically reserved for the likes of Will Smith, superheroes and hundred-million-dollar Michael Bay movies. No more of these November, let’s-hope-we-catch-the-teens-while-they’re-home-for-the-holidays release dates for you guys. In fact, a quick peek at the 2010 release schedule shows that “Eclipse” will be butting heads with such heavyweights as “Prince of Persia,” “Toy Story 3” and Jackson Rathbone’s “The Last Airbender.”
Unfortunately, there’s also some bad news: Eyebrows were raised among the fans when the “New Moon” release date was announced as being a year after “Twilight” arrived in theaters. Now, “Eclipse” will hit screens a mere seven months after “New Moon.” Figuring in the roughly three months that Chris Weitz required to prepare the second film, that gives the director of the third movie barely four months to shoot it, edit it, get the special effects up to speed and put the film in theaters.

Looks like the much-anticipated Box Office showdown between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been called off.
According to a source close to Pattinson's Little Ashes, the movie's release has been pushed from March 27 to May 8. The March date was significant as it marked the opening of Stewart's movie Adventureland.
The new May release means the two stars—who famously played lovers in Twilight—will no longer go head-to-head on their respective opening weekend.

"And despite earlier reports that the movie would be known as The Twilight Saga's New Moon, the title will remain New Moon according to the movie's rep. They just have Twilight Saga in the artwork to identify it for anyone less devoted than your average fanggirl."

I've confirmed there's no director hired yet. And the two productions won't be back-to-back. But that hasn't stopped Summit Entertainment from newly scheduling its Twilight threequel for release on June 30, 2010, not long after its Twilight sequel New Moon set for November 20th this year now being helmed by Chris Weitz.
""As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death."
"Chris Weitz will not direct the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse, a source close to the production tells EW.com exclusively. Because New Moon, which Weitz is helming, and Eclipse are due to be released so close together (on Nov. 20, 2009, and June 30, 2010, respectively), Weitz will be in post-production on New Moon at the same time that Eclipse will be shooting. That said, the source confirms a report that the movies will not be shot simultaneously or back-to-back; there will be a brief gap between the production of both films. (Reporting by Adam B. Vary)"
Seth, over at Steph's site recently announced that their official website has been updated. And I have to say- I'ts awesome. So I recommend you all to get an account there,I didat least. ^^
"I just received the following message from Elizabeth (Stephenie's publicist):
"The publisher of the Twilight saga has relaunched the official saga website. TheTwilightSaga.com now includes customized member profile pages, photo/video uploading and sharing, discussion forums, chat and more! Click on the link above to meet up with other fans from all around the world to gather and share in all things Twilight."

An Interview With Bella's Mom

Rob: What was the hardest part of playing Edward?
Edward has a certain aura that makes people be scared of him instinctively and they don’t know why. I really love that, but I think that’s hard to show on screen so I would imagine him as a lion who was in the jungle surrounded by animals, they know he’s not hunting but they keep their distance. And that was something I really wanted to add to the movie, in fact there’s a scene in which all the birds literally fly away as soon as I walk by, and this gives you the idea.
Kristen: How did you and Robert manage to pull off that chemistry onscreen?
We’re actors. It’s natural for us. We rehearsed a lot in the beginning, we had a lot of time to read about vampires and to read the books. So sometimes we argued about them saying “No, vampires can’t breathe, so I’m not going to be able to feel your breath (laughs). I don’t know, we got lucky. Hopefully that shows onscreen.

In line to what Kristen Stewart had said earlier, some parts of "New Moon" will be filmed in Italy. Giving further details on the production in this particular European country, Variety reported that the sequel of "Twilight" will be shot in an ancient town in Tuscany region called Volterra.
The trade further explained that the shooting in Italy will be done for two weeks in May, two months after the principal photography begins in Vancouver in March. The town of Volterra itself, in the Stephenie Meyer's second novel of her "Twilight" series, has been described as the place where the powerful Volturi vampire coven reside.

"Tell me about your role on Twilight:
I play Angela Weber and she goes to Forks High and Bella Swan transfers to the school in Washington. I’m a human and I help her deal with a new environment, new school, new friends. I befriend her.
How did you prepare for the role?
Reading the books was a big help because it was really nice and convenient to be in a movie that is a book. I read the first book and was madly in love with it. By the time I found out I was going to be going to Portland to film, I was so excited. I had finished all 4 of the books."

When I wrote the original Cullen House article I never imagined it would gain the popularity it did. As promised, I have been in contact with Jeff Kovel from Skylab Architecture and have prepared the following interview/bio along with a few more images for all the mad fans!

Summit Entertainment has started pre-production and casting for the sequel to Twilight, New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio MAY be filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director (this has not been confirmed). On Sunday, December 7th, Summit Entertainment did confirm that Catherine Hardwicke will not direct the films New Moon and Eclipse, and Chris Weitz has signed to replace her. Filming begins on New Moon in March 2009.

Clearly you and Kristen have great chemistry! Do you think you can cultivate that kind of thing, or is it a case of either you have it or you don’t?
In a way I think you can cultivate it – to an extent. You need to be quite committed to it but definitely from the beginning there was that thing with Kristen and I felt like it was right. On the other hand, if you stay somewhat in character the whole time it eventually starts to rub off.

Check out Extra’s Raw Interview footage with Jackson Rathbone.
