The Centres of Expertise comprise three centres which focus on different professional areas:
Centre for Stress Management: health education, stress management and prevention, stress counselling, stress audits and consultancy, and training health and caring professional in cognitive behavioural, rational emotive and multimodal therapies. The Centre is recognised as a Centre of Expertise by the Institute of Health Promotion & Education.
In 2005 the Centre for Stress Management launched the Faculty of Stress Psychophysiology. The Faculty team come from the fields of psychology and biology/physiology and include both Chartered Psychologists and Chartered Biologists.
Centre for Coaching: Coaching, coaching psychology and cognitive coaching training with a focus on enhancing performance and managing stress. The courses are university accredited. The Centre has a Faculty of Coaching Psychology.
Centre for Postgraduate Studies & Research Ltd: Cognitive hypnotherapy and hypnosis programmes. The trainers running the basic hypnosis programmes are qualified accredited in cognitive behaviour therapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy and hypnosis.
