What a great sight, Coastbusters winning a race at Caloundra.
What a blast Caloundra was. A team Of 22 Coastbusters were able to attend the Abreast in Australia Regatta on the weekend of the 28th, 29th and 30th of September.

The " Coastbusters team " had a very successful trip to Caloundra. They were able to achieve their first ever first placing in a Dragon Boat Race. What an awesome sight it was to see the girls achieve this. Our team did the Central Coast proud with their fantastic racing, helped by their great Coach and also inspired by their sweeps, some of who were Canadian Sweeps. The placings the team achieved were 2 1st placings, one 3rd placing and 2 5th placings.
The " Team " at Practice at Kawana Waters where the racing was held. It is a permanent waterway for rowing compettions on the Sunshine Coast of QLD.
The Blue Blouse that Julie Woods is wearing is in regognition of representing Australia in the first DA Regatta in Australia in 2001 I think it was. There were 8 ladies who participated, including Julie Woods.
