Punish the deed not the Breed

     

Hello and welcome to my site,  This site is not about selling puppies, studing or for any illegal purposes, this site is to promote responsible ownership respect the pit bull terrier breed and society this site is designed to help you learn more about the Pit Bull Terrier breed and provide insight to understanding the heritage and importance of the breed. This site will also help you learn ways to help the American Pit Bull Terrier through the Lie's and incorrect information on there true nature, reduce the number of unnecessary euthanasia's in pounds and shelters, and help you understand how to improve the value and pride in ownership for the American Pit Bull Terrier as a whole..

As you may already know this breed has become under more pressure to become a distant memory of mankind's creations and perhaps we will loose this truly amazing  breed because of  bad press, ignorance, cruelty, irresponsible owners, mistaking identity and  lack of knowledge. I find out of all the reasons i have listed the worst one that comes to mind is the ignorance, ignorance to the extent that this breed has near to no way of coming back to the breed that was once  the worlds sweetheart breed. loved and respected by a nation of people for there love , loyalty and courage and especially there love towards children.. what happened? well in my opinion when i say ignorance i mean the medea have portrayed this breed in a very unfair  manner that has taking the most important owners away by making them believe that this breed are some sort of machines and man and child killer's, because of the hard mad dog image this breed is encouraged and attracted  by crime.

Not all pit bull's are blessed with a human saviour, as for the one's who are well it's only than a human saviour can comment on the breed,
if you have never owned your own pit bull or even been in the company of  a pit bull ( IN THE RIGHT HAND'S) than you should never believe what you hear nor should you bad mouth them as you don't know what your talking about..as i said it's all ignorance im not giving out all im saying is research the breed and hear about the good they do like rehabilitation, search an rescue bomb and drug sniffing i could go on and on but it's only the bad that happens that people hear about..

I myself have a little boy who is 13 years old  he is highly dependent on me i love him to bit's, It gets tough sometimes and that's when my dogs help me it's just unbelievable that a breed can be bet down for there only fault was there loyalty to do what there owner's teach them, it's just so sad that humans cant see that's it's our breed that is the danger to people not a dog breed..
I would like to add that if the pit bull terrier breed was as bad as it is portrayed to be it would make it impossible even for a responsible owner to handle.. well never in the 21 years of dealing with this breed have i ever had a problem..
