This site will meet the need of networking Christian home educators in Northern Ireland.  I hope that we will be able to share with other families the possibility and joy of homeschooling.  I also hope that the site will enhance the life of our homeschooling community through the sharing and storing of useful weblinks, testimonies, lesson plans, curriculum reviews, day trips, events and life experience.  We can purchase a larger site when are in need for a small cost of I think just £35 yr.

The HEdNI are also working on a website which will soon have lots of useful and interesting material (at present it is being designed and constructed)

WHY CEIN?

When I began this site I could not think of what to call it.  Then I could not think who it was for.  I decided I would call it christian education in NorthernIreland, CEIN.  However I decided all Home-educators needed a site and I wanted this need to be met, but, HEdNI has been established to meet this need and so Cein can fulfill its purpose in facilitating the demands of the Christian Educators In Northernireland.

I looked the name CEIN up and found it meant ANCIENT it is from Gaelic .  I like it.

I think it is meaningful to us as we return to a more ancient form of Biblical family life and community.

I hope we will be blessed as a community and may the life of cein in Northern Ireland prosper!
