I have been crocheting off and on for about 30 years. My first handbag I made when I was in 5th grade. It was red and yellow with a "happy face" patch sewn on the front. The girls were so envious. LOL. I didn't crochet another bag until about 20 years later and haven't stopped crocheting them since.
