Country Essence Candles and More is located in North Alabama. We are nestled in the heart of the Tennessee Valley, among some of the most beautiful countryside anyone would want. We are a family owned and family operated business taking great care and pride in our handcrafted products.

The venture began with the love of candles. I have always loved burning candles but was usually unsatisfied with those bought in retail stores. I never understood why they would burn straight down the middle, leaving huge amounts of unused wax. And, I was very dissappointed when the fragrance disappeared soon after purchasing the candles. I set out researching how I could make a product that I would be completely satisfied with having.

After endless hours of research, I began compiling the supplies needed to "make" that first candle. Once that first candle was made, there was no stopping me, I was hooked! Now I love making candles as much or even more, than burning them.

Once the "bug" bit me, I began researching other handcrafted products as well and started trying my hand at bath and body supplies as well. It is really amazing the difference in quality of handcrafted products opposed to those mass produced by machinery.

At Country Essence Candles and More, all of our products are produced with the highest quality ingredients. Our candle ingredients include using the finest waxes and wax blends, high quality fragrance oils and colors. Our bath and body products are made using the top of the line ingredients: cosmetic grade colorings, exfoliating additives, fragrances, natural emollients and much more. Our supplies and ingredients come from all over the U.S. and several of our bath and body products' ingredients come from other countries.
