CDF 7TH FLEET

WELCOME TO ALL VISITORS

Greetings, and welcome to the homepage of the Colonial Defense Forces (CDF) 7^th Fleet! The 7^th Fleet serves CDF in the North Eastern sector of the United States as real and virtual place for fans of Battlestar Galactica. Our Fleet is broken down into a number of Battlestars, each serving in a geographical location. Some chapters are purely virtual while others meet on a regular basis, to share in the camaraderie of other fans, and to plan activities both social and charitable. Most of all we are here to have fun.

 

The CDF is made up of 2 major subdivisions:

 

1. Colonial Military which is made up of Fleet Officers and Enlisted ranks as well as Marines.
2. Civilians which included members of the Colonial Government and all manor of civilian professions including civilian ship captains, and even spiritual leaders to name but 2. The sky can really be the limit for civilian memberships.

 

There is a fair amount of role play in the CDF as a whole and no one is required to participate in the r/p side any more or any less than they themselves wish too.

 

As 7^th Fleet C.O. I and my staff are here to facilitate and to assist the 7^th Fleet members in any way that we can in particular we assist the respective Battlestar Commanders as liaisons to CDF Command otherwise known as “The Octagon”. As a rule though each BSR Commander is the driving force of his or her chapter, and it will be their vision and that of the crew of each Battlestar that will ultimately chart the course for the team. We are here to help you realize those goals not to set them.
