Temple of the Dog - Say Hello 2 Heaven
After Cornell's ex-cohabitant and long-time friend Andy Wood died because of an overdose heroin, Chris Cornell wrote a song about him (Say Hello 2 Heaven) Cornell didn't want to reject them while the songs didn't match the sound from Soundgarden. He decided to from a band for just one record called Temple of the Dog ( the bandname and the record name were alike). Cornell recorded the songs with the members of Pearl Jam (Jeff Ament,Stone Gossard,Mike McCready) and the Soundgarden Drummer Matt Cameron.
