Our library fulfills a great need for all living outside the St. Helens or Rainier city limits. Without the free services we provide, residents would have to pay as much as $60 per year to use a library.
Our library is funded and operated by donations received from the community. There is no tax base from which to fund operation expenses, purchase materials, and offer programing. Therefore, your contribution plays a vital part.
We are thrilled to receive your "like-new condition" items to add to our collection. If we are unable to use these items in the library, they will be passed along to the Friends of the Library to be sold at their booksales.
The FOL is dedicated to providing support for library. They provide financial stability with membership drives and booksales. They sponsor many programs such as the BIG READ and summer reading. They serve as volunteers. They promote and stimulate greater public support and use of the library. The Friends meets monthly, every 3rd Monday at 7 pm in the library. Everyone is welcome!
