Friends of the Library (FOL)

 It is our mission to support the library in developing its facility and services for the community by fundraising and volunteering.  Members hold book sales several times a year.  Members bring financial stability with annual membership fees.  Members offer their time and talents by volunteering for events and programming such as summer reading and BIG READ. 

Here are some of our most recent contributions:

  • Purchased books and prizes for the BIG READ.
  • Purchased shelving for expanding library.
  • Continuing collection development for the children's collection.
  • Purchased award-winning fiction and non-fiction titles.
  • Pay for monthly utilities to operate the library.
  • Pay for Internet service.
