~Where unicorns dance amongst ivory clouds
and carousels whirl to sweet refrains,
pegasus' soar with innocent passion, their
beauty rivaling the unicorns~ Cathy

O'er meadows green unicorns graze,
blue skies above, the sun's ablaze.
A fairytale dragon on wings does fly
and bumble bees drift by on a sigh,
seeking nectar in the floral maze.
Pegasus soar in winged display
illuminated by sun's bright rays,
amongst the clouds, oh so high,
o'er meadows green.
Amidst the flowers a ladybug plays,
offering nature abundant praise
for the luscious array, petals shy
that open wide to please the eye,
a beauty that will truly amaze
o'er meadows green.

The sun is shining brightly,
it shimmers on the air,
when suddenly within my sight
a colored treat so rare.
His body brilliant sapphire,
a tail of flaming red,
with wings of deepest emerald green
and white spot 'pon his head.
A friendly little hummingbird
('bout thrice his normal size)
that I produced in fondest thoughts,
therein to fantasize.
As he flits quickly to and fro,
with flowers all a-stir;
almost too fast to catch a glimpse
he trails a rainbowed blur.
He visits all his favorite haunts
then lights upon my hand,
with whispered wings he speaks to me
and tells me life is grand.
He plants a peck onto my cheek
to show me his esteem,
then says good-bye until next time
when closing eyes in dreams.
