IMPORTANT! Please read!:

Dear CBD Youth,
    As many of you know the voting that took place during last Con season was not valid due to several flaws in the process. As a result we will have voting again at the next Con.
We have updated the voting system. With your registration forms there will be a document explaining the different positions on the Youth Adult Council (YAC). We are providing you with these descriptions in advance to try to reduce the amount of time we spend prepping to vote and to allow you ample time to think over whether you would like to run for a spot on the YAC. When you arrive at the Con there will be sign up sheets for each of the positions. You will need sign up BEFORE workshops on Saturday in order to run. One of the Saturday workshops will consist of a question and answer session with a few of the current and past YAC members. This serves as an opportunity for potential YAC members to ask questions and make sure that you know what it means to be on YAC before elections. Also new to the voting process, there will be only self-nominations accepted. If you would like someone to run you must talk to him, her, or zee away from the entire group and they must choose to nominate themselves if they are to run. As always you are allowed to remove your name from the running at any time if you should change your mind.
