thankyou for visiting our site this page is just a brief summery of how we first started in our breed and about the dogs we have at present time hope you enjoy your visit to our site
. my name is julie and ive been married for just over a year, my husbands name is alan and between us we have 5 children and 5 staffordshire bull terriers. as you can imagine we dont have much spare time with everything thats going on. i had my first ever staffie about 14years ago from a puppy a dog called zak from that day i was hooked. my nxt staffie was a 5yr old bitch which was given to me by a couple who couldnt cope with her. after that i purchased a puppy dog whom i named yogi ( MAXSTA BLACK KNIGHT) he was the first dog i started showing he was 8months old at the time. i had several wins with him in open shows and numerous b.o.b aswell ive also had many placings at championship shows and qualified him for crufts on several occasions. another bitch ive had in the past was called mindy (MODESTY CROWN) who i also showed but not as much as yogi, she qualified for crufts at the age of 7months aswell and done well in the show arena.
since then ive had to take time off from showing due to a illness ive had. im now back on the mend and ive started back up showing which ive missed dearly. my husband and i purchased a black brindle bitch called charlie (MAXSTA CAYMEN QUEEN AT CAYMENSTAFFS J.W. ) as a puppy . we started showing from the day she was 6months of age her first show was s.b.t.c of wales champ show there was 29 in her class and we had a 5th place with her in minor puppy which we were well pleased with just missing out on her qualifying for crufts . since that day we have never looked back our bitch charlie has made us so proud . we gained her junior warrant and stud book number by the age of 14 months. since showing her we have had some fantastic results at open and championship shows gaining several firsts including a first in limit at manchester championship show this year under bob blackley and a 1st in limit at the north west championship breed show were we also had the reserve c.c. under mr jim devine a day we will never forget couldnt have asked for a better start to2007
we were given our kennel affix CAYMENSTAFFS last september after a few attempts when we decided to name our affix after our bitch charlie which we thought appropriate.after that we have purchased yet another young puppy dog who's called loki (MAXSTA CAYMEN KING AT CAYMENSTAFFS) he has just turned 6months last week and done two shows already one in the downlands first championship show were he had a 3rd in minor puppy 2nd in maiden and 1st in novice qualifying him for crufts in 2008 he's also had 2 firsts at the potteries limit show. he's had a great start to his show career with hopefully many more wins to come . we have 3 other staffords a bitch called buffy who's 6years of age who's full of beans and is the boss of the house her favorite past time is eating all our furniture whats left of it. another one of our bitches is called indy she's a pied and very hyper we have done some showing with her at some open shows but she wasn't very keen so she become a house dog who's also been spoilt our last stafford we have is a mahogany bitch called snorkels who we managed to rescue after a few attempts from her last owners who hadn't been careing for her properly. she was in very poor condtion when we first had her last year but has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few months and is a very loving girl . thank you for taking your time to visit us hope its been enjoyable for you. alan, julie .& the caymenstaffs gang
