The Central Arizona Wildland Response Team (CAWRT) is a consortium of over 20 local fire agencies in central Arizona that participate in state and nationwide wildland fire response. The CAWRT is divided into two groups for fire resource mobilization and deployment. CAWRT personnel and equipment is dispatched for wildland fire assignments by the Arizona Interagency Dispatch Center (AIDC) through established Inter-Governmental Agreements with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management. Resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. This site is designed to provide coordination between agencies and a deployment system for the dispatch of CAWRT East fire resources to Arizona Interagency Dispatch Center deployment requests.
The CAWRT East Group specifically coordinates equipment from the following fire agencies:
Queen Creek Fire Department (2015 update: Not currently available)
CAWRT GROUP GEOPGRAPHIC AREAS
Chevelon Fire (AZ) 2009
Cedar Fire, San Diego County (CA) 2003
