Wheek & Squeak

Guinea Pig Rescue, Boarding & Retirement Home

PAST RESCUES

This page is for feedback and pictures of guinea pigs that have been adopted from the Wheek & Squeak.  Anyone who has adopted a pig from me and would like to put either a picture of their pigs or write anything about their new pig please email me and I will gladly add it to my website.

Four of my sows have now moved happily into their new home with two other sows.  They make a lovely group and its great to see them enjoying the fine weather in a nice secure run.

This is Red & Brick, two very special pigs who I found very hard to let go.  When they wanted more food they used to throw their toy bell around their hutch to get my attention.  I have them back for their holidays and I still find it hard to hand them back to their owners.

Billy and John previously known as Rumplestiltskin and Twitch

Billy

Inset Billy and John with their friends George (black) and Percy (ginger)

(I want to know how they got them to stay there for the photo)

This is Aphrodite a sow who has the most beautiful eyes, they are so large and dark.  When she was introduced to her new owners castrated boar Perry it was certainly love at first sight for him.  It was the sweetest pairing up I have ever done, he was trying so hard to please her, where would she like to go would she like one of his new treats lol, there was no mounting and chasing round with him, he was the perfect gentleman.

When her new owners emailed me with some pictures they wrote " - he is still very protective of her, so it was difficult taking pictures without Perry blocking her out!  She is very dominant and Perry is very much under the thumb, but he seems more than happy with the arrangement!"

Alot of men could learn alot from Perry me thinks lol.

You may remember Mary and Mungo well they are now in their new homes with new names, Pip and Pickle.

This is Captain Jack (former name Johnny) and Minty who now belong to Lily and her family.

The is Stacey (now Flump) and Midge, who came in with Mary and Mungo above.  Stacey used to be bullied by alot of pigs so I had to be careful who she lived with, she was quite small and very shy but she certainly isnt like that now lol.

This is Merlin, previously known at Bill.  He is such a handsome boy and looking at his pictures I wondered how I ever let him go, but I know what a lovely home he has gone to.

This is Rosie, Maisie and Molly, three very pretty sows who were recently paired up and adopted.  Their original names were Molly, Milly and Molly, a bit confusing I agree.

This is Casserole and Summer.  Casserole is a sterile elderly boar who lives with Summer who is quite a young sow who was very nervous.  The new owners have done a wonderful job with her and when they came to stay for their holidays here she was so much calmer.
