Thank you for your interest in "CaviesByDesign"
We are a small group of Rodent & Rabbit enthusists located in South Western Virginia, who wanted to share our love for these animals with those who are also interested. We are currently members of ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) and pending membership with ACBA, ANDRC, and NJWRC. On occation we do breed and offer some of our stock for sale to show and/or pet homes. We are currently keeping 8 breeds of Cavy; Texels - Teddys - Peruvians - Peruvian Satins - Silkies - Silkie Satins - Coronets - Coronet Satins... Although, the Coronet Satin is not a recognised breed with the ARBA it has become one of our favorite projects to work with and has produced some very nice animals!
We also maintain substantial colonies of Dwarf & Syrian Hamsters along with multipal colonies of Fancy Mice. All in various colors and patterns, such as but not limited to - Calico, Mottled, Argente, Opal, Tort, Splash, Pointed, and Agouti.
We also keep and show several breeds of pedigree'd Rabbits. We have a small herd as of yet consisting of mostly Jersey Woolies and Netherland Dwarfs. we have also aquired several nice Mini Rex...
