Fitting my new poems into categories and pages got quite confusing and complicated.... (it doesn't take much!)
So I'm now using a site called Triond which is an online publishing site, where new poems will be added regularly and easier to spot. Which means you don't have to trawl through all my old ones to get to them...
Just follow this link:

and feel free to leave comments either on this site or Triond.
Thanks
Caty
Most of the poems hopefully explain themselves, although I admit that some of them are deliberately vague as to their meaning - they sometimes even have more than one interpretation, but always they are relevant to me. They are loosely categorised in subjects - loosley because some cover many areas of my life!
Some of the content is sensitive and quite raw - none of it is intended to have any negative influence on the reader, only to perhaps bring comfort that they are not alone in their suffering and loneliness - and maybe comfort that they don't have such morbid thoughts and opressions!?
Either way, I hope you enjoy your browsing,
Caty
You have no idea
How desperate you get
How close to the edge,
How scared.
You don't have a clue
and I'm glad.
You cannot imagine
How quickly you fall
How sorry you feel,
How angry.
You've never been there
and I'm glad.
You wouldn't believe
How crazy it makes you
How crazy makes you do it,
Or the numbness.
You'll never understand
and I really am glad.
The big wide world is dangerous,
My small, narrow one
Not much less.
But the world within
Has an odd security;
The world without
Was just not made for me.
The real world
Is frightening;
My alternative
Less daunting.
In the world within
I can at least be;
In the other world
There's just no place for me.
