There are many diferent kinds of cats in the wild.When people are talking about the cats in the wild hey usually call them Big Cats because they are bigger than the normal cat. Some cats that live in the wild are Tigers,Lions,and Mountain Lions.Mountain Lions can also be called Cougars. There is a picture of Tiger BELOW.Some people have asked me why cats eyes glow in the dark its because cats eyes unlike ours work best where theres not a bunch of light.In dark areas the cats pupil must be able to become  as wide as it can but also be able to go to a very small size to protect the sensitive retina in bright sunlight.The retina is a seven layered stucture involed in signal transduction. There are also cats in the wild called Cheetas,Bobcats,Jaguar,Jungle Cat, Lepard!Jaguars are often confused with Lepards because of there fur.Jaguars can be seen by the prensense of small dots and a more muscular body witha shorter tail.The male Siberian Tiger with a body length of 10 feet and whieghs up to 300 kgit is the most powerful cat.
