She hates to perform singing.

Catherine was a track star at Rapid City Central High in South Dakota

Catherine liked the yellow charger better than the Dixie jeep. She says "I liked that yellow charger cause I could spin it around! I went wild in that car! I always had it on two wheels. John and I would test the turning circumfrence, and see how fast we could go. We'd go out on our lunch break and wax our cars together. I had so much fun, they were afraid they'd have to replace it all the time, so they made a deal with Jeep."

Catherine toured military bases around the world with the USO and spent many of her weekends signing autographs at car shows. "I was married to someone who didnt want me to work" she said of David Shaw, whom she divorced in 1981. "I loved doing the car shows. Because my marriage was crumbling, they kept me out of trouble. They kept me in a positive state"

Catherine was the only reason the show stayed alive in the 5th season. If she had left too, the producers would have canned the show.

The painting from Heiress Daisy Duke is hanging in Catherine's home.

In 1989, Gy Waldron pitched the idea for a made for tv reunion movie. He was always rejected. Each time there was an administrative change, he would try again, but the answer was always no. John Schneider tried to buy the rights to the Dukes without any sucess. In 1994, it was still a vague possibility. Then Sorrell Booke died. Cast members gathered at his funeral, and once again discussed the possibility of a reunion. It was Catherine who resolved to make Hazzard a reality. "Because of my husband [entertainment lawyer Peter Lopez], I knew all the people who were nice in the business. I said if everybody really wants to do it, then I'll set it up and we'll do it"
"She was the grain of sand that kept bugging them" said Schneider of Bach's attempts to sway the network. "She set up the first meeting with Les Moonves. By then, a lot of executives there were of an age where they looked back and thought the Dukes was pretty cool"
