Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooowwwwwwww!!!!!

Hey, how ya doin', Name's Cat or The Cat or Larrycat or hey doofus if you like, I'm not all that fussed! So.... hands up those who understood the greeting at the top of the page? No? Aw c'mon, why can't you speak cat? It's easy! A long drawn out meow like the one above can either mean, hey nice to see you how about feeding me? Or Hey nice to see you how about some attention? Hmmn, if only people were as easy to understand life'd be alot more civillised I think! Anyway, let's babble about me for a minute or two...

I'm older than you need to know, or than I really want to think about, but my last birthday was not a good one and I think I'm officially an adult now (Bugger!) read into that what you will.  If you're astrologically inclined then I've been told recently that I have Gemini in too many places to be considered legally sane, and one of my mates reckons I just went through the mother of all Saturn Returns! Not sure I understood totally what that meant, but upon looking it up, well some of it made sense...

Right, onto more tangible stuff. I'm Australian, a sydneysider for the past few years (Inner west if you know Sydney at all) A chef by trade, but sometimes I can think of a million other things I'd rather be doing! It's a bit stressful I guess, but fun in spots, and it seems to be the only thing I know how to do well, so I better stick with it.  I'm also pretty good at brewing, something I do frequently, any of the horror stories you've heard about home brew are lies I tell you! Home made beer's only bad when the person who's making it is focusing more on the fact that it's alcohol and less on that they're creating something. When beer's done right it's something to be savoured, not guzzled. (Sorry some people have passion for cheese and stuff, me I chose expensive beer. Beer's got a bad rap, and it shouldn't have, the good ones are like a good wine, and can be matched with food in the same way.) Whew, stop for breath! (Ok, I've finished my rant now!) This is probably the part where I describe myself, but hell, I think I'll just post a pic for ya. (Except to say, I hate the way my eyes show up in Pics, they look all brown, but I can assure you they're more a dirty river green)

Hmmmn, what else? Well, I have a distinctly evil and dry sense of humour. I probably take life far too seriously, so if I seem a bit irreverent, it's just that sometimes it's easier to be a bit silly then to take everything on.  I love most things feline, and my aptitude for making very realistic cat sounds at work earned me this nickname, which has now stuck fast. Have two meows, one female (11), one male (8). I'll post pics of them too at some point. I love them lots, but you know, at times, like when you're cleaning messages up from under the bed, under the table, behind the dishwasher, in the fireplace..... I think you see what I mean! (C'mon fuzzballs you know what the box in the bathroom's for) I just went away for over a week and I do believe I’m being punished for abandoning the little darlings...

My Meows, my PC, all my lovely serial reviewers over at fanfiction (I love you all *big hug* will be making a page just for you guys soon!) Fluffy Tiger slippers and moo cow pj's, red converse high tops, much as I bitch about it I do love cooking, and more so being able to please people with that skill... etc etc

Ok, ok, it's not as bad as all that. I do probably spend too much time in front of this screen, but seeing as how I work 6 days a week, I’m too tired for much else! But right now, I guess I'm really into opening up my insides, having a good look around, putting it down onscreen and then posting it for everyone else to have a look at too!

I like to write, as you may have guessed by that last bit. I've stuff on Fictionpress, and one thing over on Fanfiction. (A HP fic, love that whole world, although I’m still grumbling about the 5th book) I'll include some links to them on this site soon. (I.E when I figure out how!) I'm not for everyone, and that's cool. I'm a bit dark and much too cynical for my own good. I tend to write stuff that's intensely, painfully personal, and I know that can be a bit confronting. I can't write about stuff I can't feel however, so I don't expect I'll be changing anytime soon. Go check it out if you like, some of it I like and some of it's a bit average, but it's all real and I'm happy with that.
