two middle school students, Miaka Yuki and Yui Hongo finds a myseterious book, "The Universe of the Four Gods in the library. The opening lines of the book explains that it is the legendary story of a young girl transported to a faraway land to summon a god. If she summons the god, she can have three wish granted. Then they were transported to the "World of the book"..... They encountered a small band of servants that tried to kidnap them, a young handsome man saved them. And, of course wanted money in return. Miaka and Yui didn't have any money, so the young man left. Romantic events and violent events happens. A love triangle between Tamahome, Miaka, and Hotohori. And Misundetstanding and sorrow....

OPINION: Miaka is really clumsy. O_O She's really brave, though. She fell in love with Tamahome at first sight. But, I wouldn't be so sure of that, you know. What if he was a bad guy? O_o But, she's has a point that he's really handsome... O_O Ahahaha! She loves food, just like me! ^___^ But, I'm not that crazy!! =_=; She's really funny, you know! ^___^ She's like almost my favorite character in this anime.

OPINION: Tamahome's so cool... O_O Ahahaha! I like that fact that he cares for his family. Amazing fighting skills, too! ^___^ Tamahome's so nice! I wish a knew a guy like this! ^__________^

OPINION: Well, I think Nuriko is very caring. He loves all of the seven warriors, even Miaka. He cares for his dead younger sister, that's why he dressed up and became a woman. He didn't want to accept the fact that his sister is dead. I like his powers, he have super strength. He's pretty funny and looks really like a woman! @_@
FACTS:
OPINION: I think Chichiri is a very kind person and he have a very sad past. He killed his own friend with his hands. Chichiri tries and help Miaka to get Yui back on the right side. Since Yui is being used by Nakago. Chichiri is a blue-haired buddhist monk who was trained by Taiitsu. He is the oldest of the Suzaku warriors. He usually says "No Da" in the manga. In the english version, it's "Ya know".
FACTS:
OPINION: Tasuki is a noisy, woman-hating leader of Mt. Leikaku bandits. He is the funniest characters in Fushigi Yuugi. He has an older sister and his weapon is mental essen (fan) that can make flames come out when he says "Rekka Shien". He doesn't hate Miaka for some reason and he happens to fall in love with her after she summoned Suzaku.
FACTS:
OPINION: Mitsukake is the healer of the Suzaku Seven. He's very quiet and doesn't talk that much. He is one of the serious warriors in the Suzaku Seven. His weapon is healing with the use of his palm. (hand) He's a doctor before Miaka met him. Durning the war, the gave himself up to save a little girl.
FACTS:
OPINION: Chiriko is the youngest and the smartest of the Suzaku Seven. He's very smart and became attach to Tasuki. When his character disappear, he becomes like a little kid and cries. Before he met Miaka and the warriors he was studying for an exam for a seat in the government. His body was taken over by Seiryū Senshi Miboshi, but after regaining control, he stabs himself, taking Miboshi with him to his death.
