The purpose of this website is to keep my English III AP® students connected to the resources and assignments that are being provided in class. This website will be a primary resource for important dates, handouts, and internet links that are necessary for their success in the class. There is also a guestbook for students (and parents) to ask questions about assignments that are given in class. Please check back often to see what has been updated or added!

PARENTS: It is the student's responsibility to make sure that they are able to complete the assigned readings in a timely manner. Throughout the year, I will always recommend a reading schedule that will enable them to complete the novel in time; however, when a student has spare time (on the bus/during breakfast, etc) they are always encouraged to take advantage of those moments to complete their readings. Please ensure your child's success by making sure they have ample opportunities to complete his/her reading at home.

The mission of
Academic honesty is expected in all assignments that the student is asked to do. All students have been given a CVHS Student Handbook with the CVHS Academic Honor Code. Cheating and plagiarism (as defined in the handbook) will not be tolerated on this campus. Any student that is caught violating the Honor Code will immediately be given a zero on the assignment, a "U" for unsatisfactory conduct, and be referred to the administration for disciplinary measures. In addition to being a Level II conduct violation, cheating and plagiarism denotes a student's flagrant disregard for the intellectual property of others that will result in a loss of trust from CVHS instructors and peers.
