I was always told by my jute weaver mother that ?Broughty Ferry had more jute magnets millionairs in the Ferry than anywhere else.
I am researching stuff and I would like to know more. I know that some jute factory ownere lived in castles such a cstle roy other houses and I wonder if there are pictures of these buildings

is there anybody who has information on Dundee Parish football club from the 20's? My grandfather John McLaren and his brother played for that team in 1924 I believe, and I am trying to piece some stuff together for my son who plays rep' soccer (north america)
