 We at Cartref  take pride in the Goats that we breed. We breed Kalahari Reds & South African Boers for meat. We also breed Australian Melaans, Anglo Nubians' & Direct Line Descendant Anglo Nubians' from the original imports into Australia in 1956,

The [Direct Line Descendant Anglo Nubian] is listed with the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia as an endangered species with in a breed and they are classified as endangered category 2. status,

Cartref Goat Industries is an Accredited herd for [CAE] Caprine Retro Virus, [MLA] Meat and Livestock Australia Accredited & a Johne's Tested Disease Free herd. Our Does are 24hr tested for milk production and Herd Recorded. With many milk awards to their credit.

We have also bred many Australian Champions, that are in our herd. We bred the first 3 Australian Melaan Champions in Australia, The first Sire of Merit, The first Dam of Merit & the first Dam of Distinction in the Australian Melaan breed. We also have Australian Champions with in our Anglo Nubian herd, They also have many milk awards to their credit. Cartref Does do very well on the show circuit. With numerous wins at Brisbane Royal Show & Sydney Royal Shows.
