Walt Disney had a dream, and that dream was Disneyland.  His dream came true on July 17, 1955 when the world saw for the first time Disneyland Park. In Disneyland's golden days, the park saw technological advances the likes of those were never seen in any amusement park before or since.  Disneyland brought thrills and theming and married the two together.  Unfortunately, many of these ventures have been lost to history, and that is what this website is about.  Here you will relive the attractions of yesteryear, from the Carousel of Progress to the Natures Wonderland.  And you will also witness the rides that took their places, and what is left of them today.  Videos will be created to give you the full perspective, featuring source audio and area music.

In addition, photos and scripts will be included, and each attraction a library of multimedia.

Eventually, a second site will be linked, The Walt Disney World site, where articles and pictures by myself are accompanied by videos of Disney Worlders from around the world.
