Carothers Art Class

 My name is Mrs. Carothers.  I teach in Wichita, Kansas at Wichita - South High school.  There I teach a multitude of classes that include Introduction to Art, Drawing and Painting 1 and 2, Commercial Design 1 and 2, and Special Art Productions.  

I love teaching art, because it lets me see a side of my students that many educators and adults rarely see.

 Since my husband is a farmer, we have tons of animals.  We have a dog, 2 cats, 4 horses, and lots of cattle.  Outside of school, I enjoy the outdoors and lots of physical activities.  I love to run, play volleyball, basketball, tennis, ride horses or four wheelers, and spend time with my family.
